Because this spell is stackable, it can be used as dispel fodder, in case a creature or player casts [[Spirit Dispel (119)]], [[Spiritual Abolition (230)]], [[Elemental Dispel (417)]], or [[Elemental Disjunction (530)]] on the character. However, owing to the relatively short duration of each cast, this is most effectively done with [[Rapid Fire (515)]]. |

The spell Presence gives the caster a chance to detect hidden and invisible creatures in the same room as the caster. While the spell does not enhance the Perception skill, it does enhance some activities that the Perception skill enhances.
This spell is helpful for any task that utilizes the Perception skill, such as searching or detecting traps.
When a hidden or invisible character or creature is found using this spell, they are not revealed from hiding nor is their invisibility dispelled. Additionally, the caster cannot simply point to the hidden character to reveal their location. The caster must search in order to reveal a hidden character; this spell does increase the caster's ability to search.
Because this spell is stackable, it can be used as dispel fodder, in case a creature or player casts Spirit Dispel (119), Spiritual Abolition (230), Elemental Dispel (417), or Elemental Disjunction (530) on the character. However, owing to the relatively short duration of each cast, this is most effectively done with Rapid Fire (515).
