Chomper Plants are a type of pet item. They have verb traps and ambient messaging. Their description changes depending on if they are awake/active or asleep/inactive. Their description will also change depending on how hungry/thirsty they are. Oemeleria and the autumn plant, at least, are marked unalterable per a NPC merchant.
