Revision as of 08:53, 7 September 2024
The February 2024 Duskruin run introduced golem pets as part of the Year of Clockwerke Devices. Golem pets require assembly, starting with a chassis (obtained via Battle Vault), then adding specific types of parts found in Duskruin Arena and Bloodriven Sewers, and finishing by adding an engine and using the Bloodforge. The golem chassis requires one head, two arms, a set of plates, a set of gears, and two legs to assembly, plus an engine which became available during the August 2024 Duskruin run. RuneThe completed golem's summoning item is an elongated ur-barath rune.AnalyzeThis section has not been added yet; please add to it now! Usage

ChassisThe golem chassis is acquired via a Battle Vault made available for the February 2024 Duskruin run. Different golem parts can be ADDed to it and are required for its full assembly. When adding arms and legs, the chassis can be FLIPped to turn it around from left to right. Adding a golem part to a chassis cannot be undone, however a new part of the same type can be added to the chassis, destroying the old part in the process. The golem chassis is permanently attuned to the character who opens the Battle Vault. Using BREAK on a chassis will permanently destroy it, yielding an account-attuned violet experience orb.
You analyze your golem chassis and sense that the creator has provided the following information: This is a part from the Create-a-Golem activity from Duskruin 2024! You can ADD golem pieces that drop in the arena and sewers to build a golem. LOOK at it to see what parts you need to complete it! Be sure to check the announcements for more details. You get no sense of whether or not the chassis may be further lightened.
Golem PartIndividual golem parts must be added to a golem chassis as part of its assembly. They can be acquired at Duskruin's events. Battling an automaton in the Duskruin Arena has a chance to drop either a golem part or a metal ore, and the Bloodriven Sewers have a chance to drop a golem part. Golem parts include one head, two arms, a set of plates, a set of gears, and two legs. Golem parts by themselves are not attuned. Adding a golem part to a chassis cannot be undone, however a new part of the same type can be added to the chassis, destroying the old part in the process. Parts can also be added to a completed golem after it has been built. A Burghal gnome of a sufficient level can use TINKER to swap how an arm or leg is attached to a chassis. The noun does not change, only how the limb attaches to the chassis.

Additional InformationAssemblyAfter adding all required parts to the chassis, including an engine, the golem must be assembled at the Bloodforge at Duskruin. This is done by OFFERing the chassis to the Bloodforge. Doing so gives the golem's summoning item, an elongated ur-barath rune . The golem can then be summoned by COVERing the ur-bareth rune. AppearanceA completed golem has a standardized appearance, with the individual parts added to its chassis displaying in a specific order. Standing before you is a little golem constructed from some intricate golvern plates. An internally burning head stares outward, its gaze calculated, drawn to a specific point. An intricate golvern right arm and an intricate golvern left arm stay at its side, while it idles in place on an intricate golvern right leg and an intricate golvern left leg. At each joint of the golem are some intricate golvern gears buzzing loudly. Deep inside its abdominal cavity is an enchanted core burning a sanguine flame. You see nothing unusual.
