Strength provides a +15 bonus to the target's strength (but does not directly enhance the Strength stat), effectively increasing melee attack strength (AS) and reducing encumbrance.

Lore Benefit

Training in Elemental Lore, Earth, provides an additional bonus to the base +15 AS of +1 per seed 4 summation of ranks. The lore benefit is selfcast only. Further, the lore bonus (unlike the base bonus provided by the spell) only provides a bonus to attack strength; it does not provide benefits towards reduced roundtime when using ranged weapons.
