- This spell was originally a Cleric Base spell.
This spell nullifies the effect of Curse (715) for a brief period of time, allowing the target to remove and/or drop the cursed item. Unlike Remove Curse (315) there is no level comparison between the sorcerer casting the curse and the individual removing it.
While the target is under the effects of a neutralized curse, the curse cannot be removed via Remove Curse. Objects that have had curses neutralized can be interacted with as if not cursed; this permits a non-sorcerer to place cursed gems in containers as bait, among other less nefarious uses.
This spell is available on scrolls and arcane trinkets that can be found in the treasure system.
This spell also opens the gate to the Graveyard near Wehnimer's Landing.
Lore Benefits
