Summary

Mayor Thadston comes to the Raging Thrak Inn Trophy Room to meet with town adventurers and finalize the details of the procedure, to be done the next night, to enter Thrayzar's mind and potentially cure him. Missoni relays that the proposal Akenna sent to him is still the same. Thadston suggests being prepared to do anything and requests that everyone keep this far from town just in case. Missoni, Sir Goldstr, and Councilor Leafiara settle on doing this at the Circle of Stones, past the Old Mine Road, where Rodnay had once helped town defenders enter the mind of Chaston.

However, Grishom Stone seemingly takes brief control of townspeople gathered near the fireplace to give cryptic warnings and advice: reach the orc first, his agreement will be critical, without him you'll wander endlessly, and use his blood without asking him.

[General] Thadston thinks, "Evening."

[General] Leafiara greets, "Good evening!"

[General] Chandrellia thinks, "Well good eve Mayor."

[General] Goldstr exclaims, "Evenin Mayor!"

[General] Kayse thinks, "Fair evening, Mayor."

[General] Dergoatean exclaims, "Evening, Mayor... or should I say... GOLEM?!"

[General] Thadston thinks, "Hah, no."

[General] Dergoatean exclaims, "Okay. Evening mayor!"

[General] Thadston thinks, "I'll be at the trophy room. We should probably meet before tomorrow night."

[Town Square Central]

This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing. The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith. At the north end, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded from the moonlight by a strong, robust tree. The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep. You also see a hill caiverine, a dark-haired half-elven priestess, the Vaemyr disk, the Willm disk, an animated jeddart-axe hovering in mid-air, the Nikiita disk, the Terraa disk, the Kellafar disk, a moth-eaten dark green blouse, a blue-swirled silver wax candle, a twisted black and white candle, a golden flame-shaped candle, a silver-traced carved mahogany cart with some stuff on it, a round silver-banded barrel, an herbal remedy donation bin and some wide stone benches with some stuff on it.

Speaking to Vaemyr, Leafiara says, "Meeting Thadston in the trophy room."

Vaemyr says, "Oooo Mr Mayor on the amunet."

[Raging Thrak, Trophy Room]

Tiny smudges of soot mar the fieldstones used to create the grand fireplace in this cozy room. A collection of plaques hangs above an immense grey marble mantel cluttered with trophy cups and bowls. Fashioned from a single stone slab, the hearth extends to an impressive black bear rug with its maw frozen in a silent roar. Several overstuffed wingback chairs, each covered in deep jewel-tone chintz, are scattered about the room. Against the back wall, a tall glass-front curio houses several ancient mementos and a thrak hide curtain hangs nearby. You also see a lazy wild dark crimson dog, an intricately woven straw wastebasket and a basket of sticks.

Speaking to Pukk, Pietra says, "This is not the quietest place in the middle of nowhere for you to leave me behind like I requested."

Speaking to Thadston, Vaemyr exclaims, "Hi Mr Mayor!"

Speaking to Thadston, Pietra says, "Also, hello again."

Pukk says, "Well, Leafi is here. So that is good enough."

Thadston grins at Pietra.

Speaking amusedly to Vaemyr, Leafiara says, "Okay, you're far too happy tonight."

Stormyrain just arrived.

Speaking to Pukk, Pietra says, "Do I get cake after? I think I need some."

Speaking to Pietra, Pukk says, "You can get some pie."

Stormyrain places a hand over her heart.

Stormyrain bows to Thadston.

Thadston nods at Stormyrain.

Thrayzar Plan

Thadston asks, "So, what is your plan?"

Thadston peers quizzically at Missoni.

Thadston asks, "How do you plan to jump into the orc's mind?"

[General] Blades thinks, "I didn't say whose heart it was."

Thadston peers quizzically at Missoni.

Speaking to Thadston, Pukk says, "First you need to get someplace really really high, then you jump."

Speaking to Thadston, Missoni says, "That is Akenna's part of the plan, actually. My job is the outer circle."

Vaemyr whispers something to Missoni.

Speaking to Thadston, Missoni asks, "She said she sent you a proposal?"

[General] Blades thinks, "I prefer Mayors that look like Lylia. Give em a wig and i'll be over."

Vaemyr asks, "What plan?"

Speaking drunkenly to Kayani, Gutstorm slurs, "Dat wash da besht part udda drink."

[General] Gespry happily thinks, "Give it up."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Missoni says, "There is a plan to cure the orc of his ailment."

Speaking softly to Gutstorm, Kayani says, "Im sorry."

Thadston says, "She did."

Thadston nods.

Missoni nods approvingly.

Thadston asks, "And nothing has changed?"

Speaking to Thadston, Missoni says, "It has not."

Speaking to Pukk, Pietra says, "I need my thoughts to stop leaving my head this way."

[General] Gespry thinks, "A wig wont improve his looks."

Missoni says, "I will be following her lead, unless she asks for more."

Thadston nods.

Thadston says, "Don't do it near town."

[General] Blades asks, "A wig and five shots of whiskey?"

Speaking to Thadston, Perigourd asks, "How near is near?"

Stormyrain asks, "Even though Grishom warned her off of this, she will go ahead?"

Leafiara says, "Would have hoped that was a given."

[General] Isele thinks, "Blades is a cheap date comfirmed."

Leafiara clarifies, "The not near town part."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Kayse says, "I was there, she wasn't worried about him."

Thadston nods at Leafiara.

[General] Gespry thinks, "Think if they double shots.. maybe."

Speaking drunkenly to Regwen, Gutstorm slurs, "Fink me drank to much."

[General] Blades thinks, "I'm in."

Leafiara inquires, "Wait, when did Stone warn her off?"

Thadston says, "I want it a good distance away, just in case."

Speaking to Leafiara, Stormyrain says, "I was told that he approached her in Solhaven."

Leafiara adds, "Or maybe why is a better question."

Speaking to Leafiara, Kayse says, "Weeks ago in Solhaven. Well, one of his clones."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Missoni says, "We have no explanation for why he warned us. Perhaps it is because he does not want us to succeed."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "We blowin up da town?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Vaemyr says, "Ooo in Solhaven a few weeks ago, one of his cloniethings."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Missoni says, "It was not him, persay."

Speaking to Missoni, Stormyrain asks, "What was the warning, exactly?"

Missoni says, "But it was a dark-haired man."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Missoni says, "That if we do not succeed he will save the orc and leave us."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Vaemyr says, "Uhh was basically "I will save Thrayzar, but not you." in a big creepy voice."

Speaking amusedly to Vaemyr, Missoni says, "Just so."

Leafiara muses, "Oh, that's... not exactly an intimidating warning."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Pietra says, "Sounds fun? I don't know."

Speaking to Leafiara, Perigourd says, "Death was intimated."

Thadston says, "Just be ready for anything, and ready to...do anything, if it comes to it."

Kayse uncertainly says, "There is a lot that can go wrong...if you aren't experienced with that magic."

Speaking drunkenly to Thadston, Gutstorm slurs, "Anyfin??"

Thadston says, "We all respect and appreciate Thrayzar. Just don't be emotional."

Kayani softly says, "Sounds kinky."

Speaking to Pietra, Vaemyr exclaims, "Mind diving does sound fun!"

Khobra thoughtfully repeats, "Anything."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Perigourd says, "It hasn't been so far."

Speaking drunkenly to Leafiara, Gutstorm slurs, "He shaid anyfin."

Speaking to Thadston, Chandrellia says, "This is Landing we are always ready, even if its not the more sensible choice...."

Speaking to Thadston, Goldstr says, "Da Order will attend fer protection."

Thadston nods at Goldstr.

Speaking to Thadston, Missoni says, "If it helps, I do not know him. I will do what is necessary."

Crysty says, "Gutstorm should be first in line for that 'anything' that needs doing."

Speaking to Thadston, Pietra asks, "Do you really think not being emotional or being emotional is an option?"

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Me can handle dat."

Thadston says, "Good. As long as you understand what protection entails sometimes."

Speaking to Perigourd, Vaemyr asks, "Oh... it not fun?"

Thadston nods at Goldstr.

Speaking to Thadston, Pietra says, "Mostly the not part."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Me can drop voids and maelshroomsh all over."

Speaking to Thadston, Perigourd asks, "You think it that dire to keep him from Stone?"

Thadston asks, "The orc?"

Perigourd nods at Thadston.

Thadston shrugs.

Thadston says, "If Stone wants him, he'd take him."

Pietra asks, "Wouldn't it be nice if we could just keep everything from Stone?"

Stormyrain adds, "He already has Thrayzar's blood."

Speaking to Pietra, Dergoatean says, "Sounds like a plan. Let's get to it."

Speaking to Dergoatean, Pietra asks, "A girl can dream, right?"

Goldstr says, "Grishom wants all a us in nae too far a future."

Thadston says, "I don't have much else for you all. I just wanted to know if anything had changed, and to warn you to keep it further away."

Thadston asks, "Where do you suspect you might...do this?"

Thadston peers quizzically at Missoni.

Speaking to Missoni, Raelee says, "... I am not often incorrect, but I know when I am."

Speaking to Pukk, Pietra asks, "So pretty much this will be done in Wayside, yes?"

Goldstr says, "I would think near da Reach be good."

Speaking to Thadston, Missoni says, "I am not sure if a place has been chosen yet."

Speaking curiously to Thadston, Missoni asks, "Aside from it being far away, do you have a preference?"

Speaking to Goldstr, Dergoatean says, "Operating around the reach brings a few _minor_ complications."

Thadston says, "I don't. I'm not very...knowledgeable on these kind of things."'

Leafiara suggests, "Just as long as it's a place where magical power... coalesces, that should work?"

Pukk says, "Owly will know."

Chandrellia asks, "Uummm hasnt bad things happened in the past when something was done near or in the Reach?"

Speaking to Missoni, Vaemyr says, "How bout that place we... uhh freed Thadston from his curse."

Speaking to Thadston, Pietra says, "Oooh, memories."

Leafiara says, "The Circle of Stones and the Reach are both places we've used to delve into minds before."

Speaking softly to herself, Isele repeats, "...coalesence..."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Missoni asks, "Where is that?"

Vaemyr asks, "The Reach I think?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Vaemyr asks, "Do you remember?"

Missoni asks, "All the way on top of the mountain?"

Speaking to Vaemyr, Leafiara says, "Undoing the bleakwalker? That was in the Hendoran outpost."

Vaemyr says, "Oh."

Speaking lightly to Vaemyr, Leafiara says, "I don't think they'll allow us in for this."

Thadston says, "Either one. Just don't be stupid. Even going into the orc's mind, can be dangerous. We have no idea what the witch left there."

Speaking to Dergoatean, Crysty says, "Sounds like you'd need a wagon to carry folks of my lesser trainings since we'll just die on the way there."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Dergoatean says, "The thing about the Reach... if we're lucky, Rodnay will show. But if we're unlucky, well then."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Dergoatean says, "Rodnay will show."

Speaking to Missoni, Vaemyr says, "Maybe more than just you and Akenna should go in... might need more help in there."

Missoni says, "I will scout a place where the mana flows are strong but the magic will not work counter to what we are doing."

Thadston says, "Oh, I suggest you all go in."

Speaking to Thadston, Pietra says, "Nah, just those two."

Missoni says, "I did not think we were going alone."

Speaking indifferently to Dergoatean, Kayse says, "I don't think he wants to be bothered."

Speaking to Thadston, Pietra says, "Nothing weird will happen."

Speaking to Kayani, Dergoatean says, "Not so far, anyway."

Thadston smirks at Pietra.

Blades says, "Boring."

Pietra begins to flirt with Thadston.

Vaemyr says, "I wonder what an orc mind looks like form the inside... hmmm."

Speaking to Pietra, Isele exclaims, "You said that with a straight face. Well done!"

Pietra gets a blank look on her face.

Thadston grins at Pietra.

Speaking to Vaemyr, Perigourd asks, "The mind isn't entirely orcish though, no?"

Chandrellia says, "I'll go just aid with any healing if need be unless I am more needed outside."

Speaking to Pietra, Pukk asks, "So, he's your type?"

Speaking helpfully to Vaemyr, Leafiara says, "Might actually be two overlapping minds at once, depending how the curse works."

Thadston says, "That's all I have."

Speaking to Pukk, Pietra says, "I had something in my eye. I think it was those large words in place of the foot in my mouth thing."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "It bad if Frayzor die when we in him head?"

Speaking to Perigourd, Stormyrain says, "It is at the moment, the human aspect is--locked away? For lack of a better way to state it."

Thadston says, "I'll give you back your night."

Speaking to Gutstorm, Pietra says, "Of course not."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Crysty asks, "This is a bait recruiting meeting isn't it?"

Thadston twists his head slightly, cracking his neck. He looks relieved.

Speaking to Thadston, Missoni says, "Fair eve."

Speaking to Pukk, Pietra says, "No no."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Perigourd says, "Externally perhaps, but I wouldn't assume it's the same inside."

Thadston says, "I suspect it'll be a long night."

Speaking drunkenly to Pukk, Gutstorm slurs, "Ye needa show more crazy."

Thadston shakes his head.

Thadston says, "Good luck."

Leafiara muses, "They always are, these mind journeys."

Mayor Thadston just went east.

Chandrellia says, "Night."

Organizing Details

Speaking to Pukk, Pietra says, "He's too full of magical arm implants for me."

Speaking to Missoni, Raelee says, "And it seems I was incorrect again - in regards to my stating that I was previously incorrect."

Blades says, "Lylia is must easier to pay attention too."

Speaking curiously to Raelee, Missoni asks, "Could you elaborate?"

Speaking to Raelee, Isele asks, "So.. you were wrong.. about being wrong?"

Leafiara curiously asks, "Is it just me, or does he seem to be in a better mood since getting elected?"

Goldstr says, "Councilors Da Order will be yer call tomorrow eve."

Leafiara turns toward Goldstr and renders a sharp hand salute.

Speaking to Missoni, Raelee says, "In regards to whether or not it matters who restores Thrayzar."

Chandrellia smiles at Goldstr.

Speaking to Isele, Pukk says, "Raelee is never wrong and the one time she thought she was wrong, it turned out she was wrong."

Speaking to Goldstr, Chandrellia says, "Good we will more then likely need all we can get."

Speaking to Leafiara, Pietra says, "Perhaps he got rid of that pesky itch he had for so long."

Speaking to Leafiara, Vaemyr asks, "Paperwork suits him maybe?"

Speaking to Raelee, Missoni asks, "So you did not think it mattered, then you thought you were wrong, but now you think it does not matter, again?"

Speaking to Pukk, Isele says, "She has that feel to her."

Speaking to Missoni, Raelee says, "Correct."

Stormyrain says, "I concur with Raelee."

Speaking to Pukk, Isele says, "I'm wrong more often than I'm right."

Suddenly, a local townsperson sitting near the grand fireplace suddenly turns, his brown eyes almost glazed over. He grins and says, "You'll need to reach the orc first. His agreement will be critical."

Leafiara offers, "Maybe it doesn't matter to Stone but matters to Thrayzar."

Dergoatean says, "Oh dear."

Speaking to Pukk, Pietra says, "Make me stop talking."

Speaking to Pietra, Raelee says, "There are spells for that."

Speaking to Pietra, Pukk says, "Keep talking."

Stormyrain says, "Agreed, Seer. We certainly will."

Leafiara slowly says, "Well alright then."

Missoni agrees, "It will be."

Chandrellia asks, "Oh we'll reach him and who are you think we wont?"

Speaking to Raelee, Pietra says, "I might need that, in the near future. Like ten minutes ago, or perhaps longer."

Vaemyr says, "Well speaking of Grishom."

Kayse hesitantly says, "I am unsure how we plan to do that with no mentalist."

Stormyrain says, "His consent is of the upmost importance to, I believe, most of us."

Speaking to Pietra, Pukk asks, "So tell us more how you think you and Raelee are alike?"

Speaking to Pukk, Pietra says, "I forgot. So clearly it's not true."

Another townsperson, who stands inspecting a collection of plaques near the grey mantle now turns as well, eyes coated like marbled glass. "Without him, you'll wander endlessly."

Pukk glances between Blades and Stormyrain.

Pukk says, "I can feel the love in the air."

Blades glances at Pukk.

Blades asks, "You love me?"

Blades beams happily at Pukk!

Blades pulls on Pukk, trying to get him closer.

Chandrellia says, "Oh boy."

Speaking to Pukk, Pietra asks, "Ooh, threesome?"

Pietra clasps her hand over her mouth.

Blades grabs Pukk and drags him east.

Speaking to herself, Pietra says, "Noooo."

Chandrellia asks, "Are we gonna have a rumble up in here?"

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Mebbe dey gotta room."

Speaking to Missoni, Stormyrain says, "I assume there is an aspect of Akenna's plan that will address his consent? I have not seen enough of the detail to know."

Blades just arrived.

Vaemyr asks, "Yeah, I'm sure we will, however why does it matter to you, wouldn't it be better if we just failed?"

Blades folds his arms over his chest.

Blades says, "He ran away."

Blades sighs.

You hear someone giggling.

Chandrellia says, "Please please someone do something stupid to keep us from reaching the orc."

Pukk joins Pietra's group.

Speaking to Chandrellia, Stormyrain says, "Why would you say that."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Missoni says, "We are going into his mind to get consent to remove the curse."

Speaking to Blades, Pietra says, "I like the cut of your fabric that moves the ship thing."

Blades glances at Pietra.

Blades asks, "What's she been drinkin?"

Blades glances at Pukk.

Speaking to Stormyrain, Perigourd asks, "Does he speak at all or is he completely rabid?"

Missoni says, "Because he cannot give consent otherwise, at this time."

Speaking to Blades, Isele says, "Sleep Deprivation."

Speaking to Blades, Pukk says, "I don't know. I think she got hit on the head earlier."

Speaking to Missoni, Stormyrain says, "We may want to make permission one of the first things we attempt to get..."

Speaking to Perigourd, Stormyrain says, "He has had moments of lucidity but not for awhile..though."

Speaking to Blades, Pietra says, "I'm tired and my brain is rolling downhill like a dwarf who spotted a wagon full of booze on the road."

Speaking to Blades, Pukk says, "But she wants a threesome with you so it must be bad."

Stormyrain grabs a bloodstained red neckerchief from a small pocket inside of her ebon lambskin jacket.

Speaking to Missoni, Vaemyr says, "I think it means we need to find him, the "real" him in his own mind."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Missoni says, "That is the plan."

Stormyrain says, "I have this of his."

Stormyrain taps a bloodstained red neckerchief, which is in her right hand.

Speaking to Missoni, Vaemyr says, "Then we'll be able to proceed further."

Speaking to Pukk, Pietra asks, "I think that one sentence made sense, out of all? Yes?"

Leafiara muses, "So far what I'm getting out of these warnings is to be prepared to split up in case it's maze-like in there."

Stormyrain asks, "It has brought him to lucidity for brief seconds before, mayhaps we can attempt it again?"

Missoni says, "Yes, we need to reach the human him, somehow, in there."

Stormyrain says, "The blood is his--this was brought to us when he went missing."

Stormyrain glances down.

Speaking to Stormyrain, Perigourd says, "It's worth a try. Even if it's in orcish, I have a basic understanding."

Stormyrain tucks a bloodstained red neckerchief into a small pocket inside of her ebon lambskin jacket.

The first townsperson near the fireplace says, "Use his blood. Don't ask him. Use it." With that, the man's eyes return to normal and he turns back towards the fireplace as if nothing was out of the ordinary. The other man, near the mantle, goes back to inspecting the plaques, oblivious as well.

Blades says, "Its an orc, it can't be overly complicated."

Speaking to Leafiara, Pietra says, "Can I go hang out in the fun part? Surely there's a carnival in there somewhere."

Leafiara drolly says, "Yes, yes, we get it. This is scary and impossible."

Stormyrain slowly says, "I will not do that, Seer--and you know this."

Speaking to Blades, Pietra asks, "You can't speak for orcs. How would you know?"

Speaking firmly to Stormyrain, Missoni says, "We will use the blood, then."

Pukk asks, "How are all these people knowing what to do all of a sudden? Is anybody else getting the creepies from all this?"

Speaking to Missoni, Stormyrain says, "I will not use Thrayzar's blood without his consent."

Blades says, "Because they're...orcs."

Pukk says, "It's like they know things although they shouldn't know things...that look in their eyes."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Missoni asks, "The neckerchief has his blood on it, no? And it has made him lucid?"

Speaking to Blades, Pietra says, "Well, I'm open to the possibility of a carnival tomorrow night in Thrayzar's head. And you should be too."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Vaemyr says, "We find his mind then, and get his consent there, or if he wishes to defy Grishom, and remain crayzed then that's his choice too."

Speaking to Pietra, Pukk says, "It's like the look Stormy gets when she sees Blades."

Speaking to Missoni, Stormyrain says, "That is not what the Seer meant."

Goldstr asks, "Councilors Where woulds ye likes da Order to bring Thrayzar to start things?"

Stormyrain says, "But I will use the neckerchief to see if Thrayzar's mind will quiet long enough to answer."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Missoni says, "Ah."

Stormyrain says, "Since that is just using his scent, not using the blood itself."

Blades says, "We will see what orcs dream about then."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Missoni says, "That is what I meant."

Chandrellia glances at Leafiara.

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Orcsh are dumb."

Stormyrain says, "Yes I agree to that."

Speaking curiously to Goldstr, Leafiara says, "Well... I would think that's Akenna and Missoni's call since they're the ones who need to harness the magic of the area."

Speaking to Missoni, Leafiara asks, "Would you prefer the Reach, the Circle of Stones, or elsewhere?"

Speaking to Gutstorm, Regwen says, "He's not really all orc."

Speaking to Blades, Pietra says, "I hope it's not orc ladies behinds."

Speaking to Blades, Pietra says, "Not as fun."

Speaking to Leafiara, Missoni asks, "Where is this circle of stones?"

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Thinkin ish dumb."

Speaking to Missoni, Leafiara says, "It's out on the Slope past the old mine road."

Blades says, "Hopefully hes into dark elven women, this could get out of hand though."

Pukk says, "Gryphon's Hold that way if something happens, they can fix it."

Speaking to Leafiara, Goldstr says, "Then we will wait to hear from ye's."

Blades says, "Now my mind is wandering."

Blades exclaims, "Don't go into my mind!"

Speaking to Leafiara, Missoni says, "I should think that is far enough away and close to where he is now."

Missoni says, "So we will do it there."

Leafiara says, "Come to think of it, the Circle of Stones is probably closest to the Holding too."
