The Regeneration spell surrounds the empath with a cocoon of energy that amplifies the body's healing process. When activated, the spell will heal the caster of all wounds, scars, and blood loss and continue to pulse the healing every 6 seconds.

While active, the spell also provides a small amount of protection. The caster will take reduced damage from critical attacks, giving the empath a possible chance to survive. Without lore, the default protection is equivalent to "heavily" padded armor. With approximately 50 ranks of Mental Lore, Manipulation, it's up to "masterfully". Unlike armor, this is not randomized. The crit reduction from the spell stacks with armor padding.

This spell can be activated while stunned, immobilized, or webbed by using the REGENERATE verb, but not if silenced or in Roundtime (RT). If the caster is on fire, such as when under the effects of Immolation (519), they will be unable to activate the spell due to being in too much agony.

Regeneration can be used a base of once per day, improvable with Mental Lore, Transformation training. Uses per day reset at midnight, game time (ET).

Mana Control Benefit

Every 100 ranks of Spirit Mana Control will reduce one second from the subsequent 6-second regeneration pulses.

Training in Manipulation Lore will increase the amount of protection against critical attacks.

Mental Lore, Transformation

Training in Transformation Lore allows the empath to cast the spell additional times per day, with a cast granted at 50, 125, and 200 ranks.

Points of silvery light begin to flicker around Empath.  They grow in number, swirling into a bright flash as his injuries heal to scars, then gradually fade completely.  Dimming slowly, the light settles into a shimmering silver cocoon that surrounds him.
