A Basketifier is a food basket that allows for the long-term storage of fresh foods. It also makes the food item unlimited. It was sold in the Evermore Hollow shop, Preserving Breads.

Tier 1

While OTS, the Basketifier can store up to 4 food/drink items inside it, and it can make unlimited copies of those food/drink items stored inside.

Analyze

Welcome to the Basketifier, straight out of the shop Preserving Breads at Evermore Hollow!

This basket is designed to hold food items for you. It will keep them fresh and unlimited until you decide to remove them.
It is currently tier 1 of 4, which means it will house 4 food items.
It can store more food items and unlock more functionality at higher tiers, which can be obtained by purchasing certificates in its shop of origin.
To use the basket, simply follow these steps:
1. PUT - use this to add food items to the basket.
2. RUB - use this to prepare a food item for removal.
3. TURN - Use this to remove a food item from the basket. (must be charged with a small statue)

Alterations:
The basket may be altered freely, but it must remain a basket. It can have a long or show description.

Usage

Verb First Third
PUT
(food in)
You lower a maple bourbon pork chop garnished with apple and thyme into a rotund apple-shaped basket, taking a bit of cheesecloth from within to cover the dish and keep it fresh. XXX lowers her pork chop into a rotund apple-shaped basket, taking a bit of cheesecloth from within to cover the dish.
RUB You rub the side of your apple-shaped basket, preparing a maple bourbon pork chop garnished with apple and thyme for removal. N/A
TURN First turn: You are about to permanently remove a maple bourbon pork chop garnished with apple and thyme from your apple-shaped basket. If this is what you want to do, then TURN the basket again in the next 30 seconds. N/A
Second turn: Deciding that you no longer want a maple bourbon pork chop garnished with apple and thyme in your apple-shaped basket, you turn a dial on the side of it and then press an alarmingly red button. A loud hiss and smoke issues from the basket, the sound of something whining, and a soft, piteous, "Nooooo..." fills the air, but in the end, a drawer pops open. In the drawer you see a maple bourbon pork chop garnished with apple and thyme and a small sign that says, "Last of its kind." You quickly retrieve the basket. XXX turns a small dial on her apple-shaped basket, causing a lot of hissing, billowing smoke, and a faint plea of denial. In short order, a drawer on the side of the basket pops out and XXX lifts a maple bourbon pork chop garnished with apple and thyme out of it.

Tier 2

The Basketifier's second tier expands the number of food/drink items it can contain to 8 items total. In addition, it can be PULLed to turn the basket into a picnic blanket for serving.

Analyze

To create a picnic, follow these steps:
1. PULL - to pull the blanket out. This will move all food to the blanket, and the basket will be turned into a trashcan.
2. PUSH - to clean up the picnic. This will move all food and the blanket back into the basket and return the basket to its natural state.

Alterations:
Basket's Blanket: a fringed red and black cloth
It must maintain a noun of blanket, cloth, tablecloth, or something similar. It may have a long or a show description and must be made of fabric.

Usage

Pulling a bit of debris from a forest green blanket embroidered with plump golden apples, you toss it into the basket, which you now realize will act as a trashcan.

[[OOC Warning: All food items on this blanket are now available for public consumption. Your apple-shaped basket has been transformed into a trashcan and placed on one corner. Tier 3

The Basketifier's third tier expands the number of food/drink items it can contain to 12 items total, and it has the picnic blanket ability. In addition, it can be PRODded to turn the basket into a table for serving.

Analyze

To create a table, follow these steps:
1. PROD - to set the table out. This will move all food items onto the table, and the basket will be turned into a trashcan.
2. TINKER - to clean up the table. This will move all food back into the basket and return the basket to its natural state.

Alterations:

Tier 4

Additional Information

The Basketifier will convert all items placed in it into a pristine state, even if the food or drink has started to spoil, as of an update released in December, 2022. See saved posts for more information.

Certain groups of foods may not be used to in the Basketifier. These include foods belonging to the following restricted groups:

Note: This list may not be inclusive of all groups.

  • Cooperative Houses of Elanthia
  • Meeting Hall Organizations
  • Private Properties
  • Player Customized
  • Brewable Teas and Coffees

Attempting to place these into the Basketifier will result in the following messaging:

Unfortunately, the <item> is part of a restricted group belonging to "<Group>" and can't be stored in your wicker basket.
