Disclaimer
For the purposes of this tutorial, and to ensure that we are capturing as many things as possible, the default for each person, space, or item will be identified as the following: *Spouse1 - this person has purchased the license and/or obtained it. In the examples listed here, this person is female. *Spouse2 - this is the person who will be marrying the license holder. In the examples listed here, this person is male. *Package Type - this will always be deluxe so that we can handle the largest amount of data at once. All other packages have fewer items. Where we can, we will note the differences. *Wedding Hall - this will always be Kraken's Fall, but you can visit any of the Wedding Halls in the lands that are open. *Wedding Planner - this will always be Anne, but your wedding planner can be anyone that is associated with a wedding hall. It is important to note that married couples may be any of these combinations: female/female, female/male, male/female, male/male. It is also important to note that meeting with the Wedding Planner only requires one Spouse and that it doesn't matter if it is Spouse 1 or Spouse 2. Both spouses can enter the wedding hall. Both spouses can handle this portion of the planning stage. It is not, however, a requirement.
Wedding Favors
If you have a Choice or Classic Wedding Package then you will be selecting your favors from the stock options available in The Rice of Life on the wedding concourse. Much like the menu options, you will give your choices to the shopkeeper. We have a breakdown of that below.
If you have a Deluxe Wedding Package then you have the ability to customize your options. We have a breakdown for that lower on the page.
The Rice of Life
In the event that you are not familiar with the location of The Rice of Life, we've included some directions for you below:
Directions to The Rice of Life
- Enter any Wedding Hall.
- Make sure you have received your Wedding Trunk
- Take the appropriate portal to the Wedding Concourse
- From the Main Entry, Go West, Go Decorative Golden Archway

As a Choice or Classic Wedding Package couple, you'll want to speak to the shopkeeper.
ASK SHOPKEEPER FOR HELP A pleasant shopkeeper says, "Look around the shop and select an item that your guests can TOSS at your wedding. Once you have made your selection, please GIVE it to me, and I will make sure that it is available for your guests to toss at your wedding. ASK me about OPTIONS to see your current selections."

Like many of the other shop assistants in the Wedding Concourse, this shopkeeper will let you replace your current choice with a new one.
A pleasant shopkeeper says, "You have selected the following for your guests to throw at your wedding. GIVE me another option if you wish to replace a selection." 1. a handful of pristine white rice 2. a handful of sunflower petals The shopkeeper continues, "As part of a Choice Wedding, you may select two party favors. Deluxe Wedding Party Favor
This section deals with customizations for the Deluxe Wedding Package only.
With the Deluxe Wedding Package, you gain the ability to customize your party favors. If you want don't want to do this, then please view the instructions above for how to obtain stock items and have them available for your wedding. Or, do nothing and you will be given a random selection for your wedding.
ASK SHOPKEEPER ABOUT HELP A pleasant shopkeeper says, "Look around the shop and select an item that your guests can TOSS at your wedding. Once you have made your selection, please GIVE it to me, and I will make sure that it is available for your guests to toss at your wedding. ASK me about OPTIONS to see your current selections." The shopkeeper adds, "With your deluxe wedding package, you can customize your party favor. Please ASK me about TYPES, DESIGNS, COLORS, and FLOWERS, to hear the options, and TELL me your selections to create a custom option. ASK me for a SAMPLE, to see what you have requested. ASK me about RANDOM, if you need some inspiration."
Deluxe Options: The Importance of Samples
As you build out your party favors with the shopkeeper, you will want to ask for samples of what you have created. Samples are also the only way to save the party favor that you have designed.
For example: SpouseOne has designed a party favor, but once done designing she's curious what random designs the shopkeeper could come up with.
BEFORE getting a sample of the party favor she just designed, she asks the shopkeeper about random designs. The shopkeeper doesn't realize she doesn't want her customized party favor and so the shopkeeper randomizes the design.
In order to save your party favor, you must do the following:
1. Design Your PARTY FAVOR
2. ASK SHOPKEEPER FOR SAMPLE
3. GIVE SHOPKEEPER {party favor}
That will result in the following:
A pleasant shopkeeper says, "Very well, I will make sure your guests are provided with some tiny violet confetti to toss at your wedding."
This is also true if you are having the shopkeeper randomize a party favor for you.
In order to save your random party favor, you must do the following:
1. ASK SHOPKEEPER ABOUT RANDOM
2. ASK SHOPKEEPER FOR SAMPLE
3. GIVE SHOPKEEPER {party favor}
That will result in the following:
ASK SHOPKEEPER ABOUT RANDOM A pleasant shopkeeper says, "You could choose a handful of hyacinth paper boats. If you would like to see this, ASK me for a SAMPLE!" ASK SHOPKEEPER ABOUT SAMPLE A pleasant shopkeeper says, "Here is a handful of hyacinth paper boats. Give it a toss!" GIVE SHOPKEEPER A pleasant shopkeeper says, "You have already made 3 party favor selections. Please TELL me which option number to REPLACE with a handful of hyacinth paper boats. 1. a handful of yellow-tinted magnolia petals 2. a handful of dyed blue rice 3. some tiny violet confetti TELL SHOPKEEPER TO REPLACE 3 A pleasant shopkeeper says, "You would like to replace option 3 with a handful of hyacinth paper boats." A pleasant shopkeeper says, "Very well, I will make sure your guests are provided with a handful of hyacinth paper boats to toss at your wedding."
