Disclaimer

For the purposes of this tutorial, and to ensure that we are capturing as many things as possible, the default for each person, space, or item will be identified as the following:

  • Spouse1 - this person has purchased the license and/or obtained it. In the examples listed here, this person is female.
  • Spouse2 - this is the person who will be marrying the license holder. In the examples listed here, this person is male.
  • Package Type - this will always be deluxe so that we can handle the largest amount of data at once. All other packages have fewer items. Where we can, we will note the differences.

Make Your Simucoin Purchase

Starting in 2022 at Rings of Lumnis, players are able to purchase Wedding Packages from the Simucoin store. Each type of wedding associated with an event has only one significant difference to them: the verb packages that they offer. Everything else about the packages is identical to their type. You can learn more about the various types and released data on the verb packages by visiting the Weddings Category page.

Once you have made your Simucoin purchase you are ready to begin your adventure into weddings.

Retrieve Your License

In game, retrieve your Simucoin purchase.

Congratulations! You are holding a marriage license.

Redeem License (Spouse 1)

You can redeem your license if you are intending that the person holding it is going to be one of the spouses. The first person to redeem is always considered Spouse 1, but that holds no significant function or purpose other than to let the system know who you are.

There is a confirmation with this, so you'll have to redeem twice.

1st Redeem
If you sign this marriage license, it will establish you as the primary spouse in this marriage. This cannot be changed. If this is your desire, REDEEM the license again within 30 seconds.
2nd Redeem
Locating a nearby quill, you sign your name where indicated on the marriage license. Congratulations!

Be sure to visit a local Wedding Hall after your intended signs this document, and speak with the Wedding Planner to receive your wedding trunk and other important details about your upcoming wedding!

Note: You do not need a quill in hand, this is just messaging that we provided.
