A Bard, harnessing the elemental forces, to sing Traveler's Song allows him and his, or her, group to travel back to the nearest inn. However, on a failure, the bard and the bard's group is transported to a dangerous local area. A failure will also result in a loss of mana and injuries upon arrival. Traveler's Song will work anywhere a gold ring is usable.
Thirsty Messaging
You feel a bit thirsty.
You feel a slight dryness in your throat.
Your throat feels awfully dry at the moment.
You swallow involuntarily and feel the sting of a dry throat.
You cringe as the dryness in your throat becomes more painful.
Your tongue hurts to move as the dryness spreads from your throat to your mouth.
You cringe as the dryness in your throat increases, feeling like a sharp knife slicing you from the inside!
You gasp for breath as the dryness spreads up into your nose and down towards your lungs making it harder to breath.
You tense as a wave of pain shoots through your throat and head.
You grab your head as the pain shoots through it like a thousand tiny shards of glass and sand!
You begin coughing uncontrollably and can taste your own blood as the cough tears up your throat!
- The last messaging will repeat until you have died from bloodloss.
- The thirsty messaging does not happen on every use; just a minor chance for the side-effect.
