THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE WEDDING SYSTEM

Disclaimer

For the purposes of this tutorial, and to ensure that we are capturing as many things as possible, the default for each person, space, or item will be identified as the following:

  • Spouse1 - this person has purchased the license and/or obtained it. In the examples listed here, this person is female.
  • Spouse2 - this is the person who will be marrying the license holder. In the examples listed here, this person is male.
  • Package Type - this will always be deluxe so that we can handle the largest amount of data at once. All other packages have fewer items. Where we can, we will note the differences.
  • Wedding Hall - this will always be Kraken's Fall, but you can visit any of the Wedding Halls in the lands that are open.
  • Wedding Planner - this will always be Anne, but your wedding planner can be anyone that is associated with a wedding hall.

Note On Wedding Couples: Couples seeing to be married may be any of these combinations: female/female, female/male, male/female, male/male.

Note About Entering the Wedding Hall: It is incredibly important to remember that you can not get into a Wedding Hall until you have obtained a wedding license and had it signed by two interested parties.

Note About Meetings with the Wedding Planner: It is also important to note that meeting with the Wedding Planner only requires one Spouse and that it doesn't matter if it is Spouse 1 or Spouse 2. Both spouses can enter the wedding hall. Both spouses can handle this portion of the planning stage. It is not, however, a requirement.

The Importance of Samples and Steps

As you build your signature drink with your bartender you will want to ask for samples. Samples are an important part of making sure your drink is to your specification. Please note that asking the bartender for RANDOM will reset your signature drink, so please feel free to play around with the randomization prior to narrowing down your choices.

Return to the top of this page.

Randomizing Your Signature Drink

You may ask the bartender for a random drink and they will suggest a drink with a combination of colors, notes, mixers, and a garnish, or a combination. Asking for a SAMPLE will save the drink for you, should you wish to keep the selection.

1. ASK BARTENDER ABOUT RANDOM lists random options for you:

A lanky bartender says, "You could try taupe brown bourbon with notes of honey and roses, served in a small ginger glass bottle."
A lanky bartender says, "You could try straw-colored gin with notes of grapefruit and black currant, served in a tapered brick red glass bottle."
A lanky bartender says, "You could try a pale amber gin cocktail with notes of juniper mixed with cranberry juice and orange juice, served in a striped cocoa brown glass bottle."

Side Note - Once you've asked for a sample, you can customize your sample to your liking using the same method as building the signature drink from scratch.

Speaking with the Bartender

The bartender at Crave Dining is only too eager to speak to you about your signature drink.

ask bartender about help
The bartender adds, "I also help craft signature drinks. ASK me about the following, and TELL me your selections:
DRINKS - The types of drinks we can customize.
NOTES - Flavor and aroma notes common to your selected drink type. You may choose two; TELL me if you are making the choice for the FIRST note or the SECOND note.
MIXERS - Juices, syrups, and other flavors to create a cocktail. You may choose two; TELL me if you are making the choice for the FIRST mixer or the SECOND mixer.
GARNISH - A selection of garnishes to finish your cocktail.
LIQUIDS - Color options for the liquid of your selected drink.
COLORS - Color options for the glass bottle that will hold your signature drink.
STYLES - Descriptions for the glass bottle that will hold your signature drink.

You may ask me for a SAMPLE to taste the beverage, and when you and your partner have confirmed the drink flavor, color, and bottle style, ask me for a CRATE. You will receive one crate per couple containing X bottles and Y glasses, in addition to the ones that came in your wedding trunk. These are yours to keep or share with your guests as party favors. The signature drink will be placed on your menu and be served at your wedding. You may not adjust the signature drink once you receive your crate."

Since there are just so very many ways to customize your signature drink, we thought we would take each part step by step.

At any step in the customization process, you can ASK BARTENDER ABOUT SAMPLE and they will hand you a two sip sample of your signature drink, complete with taste messaging. Please feel free to try your drink as many times as you'd like.
