Song of Depression is an open cast warding spellsong that will attempt to cause all not joined to the singer to become depressed, decreasing their ability to ward against magic and attack. All affected will suffer -20 to target defense (TD) and additional roundtime (RT) when performing actions.
- Note that it must be started with either "prep/cast", or to have a target specified before using incant. A simple "incant 1015" will NOT work, no matter how many foes oppose the Bard.
Renewal Cost
6 MP. The spell must be manually renewed via RENEW 1015.
- Once the spell is actually running, the renewal affects the entire room whether Bard has a target already specified or not.
Lore Benefits
Training in Mental Lore, Telepathy imposes an additional -1 to the TD penalty, and +1 RT according to the tables below.
