Hi. I'm EK. I play [[Alisaire (prime)|Alisaire Frey]] [since '01] as my primary character, but also have played others off and on over the years. Some of my more lasting characters now include [[Phanna (prime)|Phanna Green]], [[Lucrecea (prime)|Lucrecea Ruin Ardenai]], [[Orthir (prime)|Orthir Duranel Loenthra]], and [[Capell (prime)|Capell]]. Characters I played previously but have since retired include Alexiel Adamantine of the [[Al-Dur Tribe|Al'Dur Tribe]] and Nehari Savius Faendryl.

I have a background in natural resource management and scientific illustration. I enjoy bringing both of these experiences to Elanthia.
My first experience playing was about half a month after AOL went unlimited. At the time, I was something stupid, like a red-haired [[Sylvan]] [[Ranger]] named Katy-something, and I was such a n00b that all I did was recite songs that were currently popular on the radio while tapping silver coins in the kobold village hovel. I could probably tell a number of amusing anecdotes about that time period, rightfully tinged by my wtf-do-I-care outlook. Fortunately, I have since moved on to bigger and brighter things (or at least finally succumbed to the Dark Side of the Force).

For further background, I am such a dork that I not only play a ranger online, but I am also one in real life. I like sexy demons like vathor, abyran'sa, and aishan, and also shan in general. (Yes, that was me who dressed up as a Shan Ranger at Simucon '03.) I like guns and moonlit walks along the beach. I sometimes draw, typically fanart, and I adore console video games. I like anime and attend anime conventions several times a year; I even cosplay. I draw and co-author internet erotica, typically stuff that you do not want to view (but if you ask really nice, I will show you where I keep it). I suck at dating. I will not bear your children.
