This article is about the Lesser Spirit. For society information, see Order of Voln.

Voln is a Lesser Spirit in Elanthia and a son of the god Koar, who has dedicated his existence to the release of the undead.

Voln initially was not aware of his immortal patronage and was raised in a mortal family. His family consequently was killed by undead, and by this, Voln swore to release all the undead created by Luukos. It is believed that Koar made Voln aware of his immortality after entreaties by Lorminstra that something be done to stop Luukos' meddling in life and death.

In appearance, Voln is often a human in black armor with white shield and of grim appearance. His symbol is usually a white shield on a black field. The Order of Voln, established in 4045, was created to further his mission against the undead. He is known by one nickname as, Destroyer of the Undead.
