Once the site of an open glade called the Coraesine Field, a series of events influenced by the actions of Elanthian adventurers eventually led to a forest growing in its place seemingly overnight, aided by a dryad and wild magic. Merchants periodically flocked to the site of Coraesine Field throughout its lifespan, and there they offered a variety of high end services and items.

The first iterations of the event held within Coraesine Field were three series of pay events, each with a limited number of tickets. The final return to the field was a free festival, renamed in honor of the forest that now stood there. Coraesine Forest became a permanent fixture of the game world after the grounds were opened. Coraesine Forest is located off Sylvarraend Road in Ta'Illistim. It is south of Gyldemar Forest and east of Sylvarraend.

Commencement of Coraesine Forest was a free festival featuring a return to the grounds of what once was the Coraesine Field. It was a high-end service event, in the same spirit of the prior Coraesine Field events. There was limited or no shopping present during it. There was no bank on the grounds and there was no transportation to the event.

The festival was advertised as the most expensive silvers based event for past 10 years. It did not have any SimuCoin requirement to participate. Entry was restricted to paid and promotional accounts (prime, premium, platinum, returning promotion); F2P accounts could not participate. There was no Grand Auction due to time restraints.
