The Fullmetal Crucible made its debut at Duskruin in Scoria and Dross during the February 2023 run. By itself, the crucible can take weapons and armor* and melt it down into 25 lb. slabs for use with forging, however anything over 25 lbs will be lost and unrecoverable. Additional molds can be purchased for use with the crucible to make other items, such as weaving beads, trick coins, and frames for paintings.

*Only forging slabs or non-forged weapons and armor will work in the crucible.

Tier 1

Analyze

You analyze the steel crucible and sense that the creator has provided the following information:
This is a Fullmetal Crucible, a device used to melt weapons, armor, and forging slabs to create other metal objects. The steel crucible will NOT accept Duskruin ores. Any overage beyond the required amount of material for a slab (25 lbs.) or the mold added to it (varies) fed into the crucible will be lost and will NOT be replaced, so please plan accordingly!

You may alter this crucible, but the noun must remain crucible and it must make sense as a device for melting and casting molten metals. Some messaging references a pour plate and a ceramic handle, so do not contradict these details. You may also TWIST a Life Aquatic sea creature onto the crucible to change the quencher creature.

LOOK at the crucible while in use for cues as to the next step necessary to cast your new creations.
