Intensity allows an Empath to focus his or her wrath to provide a +20 bonus to both AS and DS, improving them for ranged, bolt, and melee. With further dedication to the Empath spell circle an empath is also able to stack more AS and DS onto the +20 base, at +1 AS/DS for every two Empath spell ranks beyond the 30th. This further training bonus is capped at the caster's level.
The mana spent to cast the spell is also increased because of the spell's increased bonus. The base mana cost is 30, +1 for every 3 AS/DS bonus over the base +20.
