Kai's Triumph Song increases the offensive prowess of the Bard and his or her whole party.
When first learned, the song provides a base +10 AS. For every Bard Base song known above 7, the AS bonus increases by +1, up to a total bonus of +20 AS. Training in Mental Lore, Telepathy also increases the AS provided by the song. The max AS benefit the song can provide, lore training and Spellsong ranks included, is +33.
At 19 Spellsongs the group also receives increased Hitpoint recovery.
This song will help a person recover from an Undead's sheer fear once afflicted, but will not help warding it off in the first place.
Mana cost: 7, +1 for every AS above +10 gained from spell training (not lore).
Renewal Cost
2 MP, +1 for every AS above +10 gained from spell training (not lore, maximum of +12).
Lore Benefits
- Mental Lore, Telepathy: +1 AS at the following ranks: 3, 7, 12, 18, 25, 33, 42, 52, 63, 75, 88, 102.
Messaging
Initial singing:
Your spirit is lifted by the verses praising Kai.
Song ending:
Your spirits are no longer lifted by stories of Kai's Triumphs.
