Censure (316)

|
Censure allows the Cleric to invoke an ages-old incantation, used by the gods in the days of yore to place a mighty rebuke upon those that displeased them. Any creature within hearing of this enunciation runs the risk of being stunned or even entirely immobilized for the duration of this spell.
Effect
Censure will cause a character or creature to become either stunned or immobilized, depending upon the magnitude of the endroll. For endrolls < 150, the effect will stun the creature/player, while those > 150 will cause an immobilization effect.
Censure will attempt to hit a minimum of 4 targets. This minimum can be raised by training in Spiritual Lore, Religion (Seed 5 of the Lore Progression) to a maximum of 20 targets. If cast in general, the spell will not effect other players in the same group as the caster or CONVERTed to the same deity. This limitation can be circumvented, if desired, by casting the spell directly at the vagrant follower.
Duration
Duration of the spell is based on endroll, capped at 25 seconds. Note that the duration "starts over" when the stunned/immobilized threshold is reached, potentially allowing a longer effect with a lower endroll.
Messaging
The target of this spell will see a message based on the cleric's alignment.

- For your transgressions, a thousand storms shall be raised against you, and lightning shall rain across your path and all you love!
