Casting Aura Of The Arkati causes creatures to cringe in fear. Those not with the casting paladin must attempt to ward the effect or rebuke in awe.
Against like-level opponents, this spell causes a 10 percent Defense Strength (DS) decrease to the target's current stance. When cast against foes much lower in level, the spell may cause the target to kneel and/or become immobilized. If the target is able to move, it will suffer a slowing effect.
Training in Spiritual Lore, Religion augments the DS reduction by 1 percentage point at 5 ranks to a maximum of 5 percentage points at 30 ranks.
