Called "The Windrunner," Jaston is the Patron of the Four Winds.

Once a sylvan elf, Jaston was one of Imaera's first experiments into the recreation of life upon Elanthia. After the Ur-Daemon War, Imaera sought to rebuild life upon the planet. Using the body of a fallen sylvan elf, she extended muscles and bones from his shoulder blades, creating three wings off each side of the sylvan’s back. She then covered them in soft white feathers.

It was Imaera's hope that she could turn her beloved tree elves into true tree-dwellers, complete with wings and other birdlike attributes. But looking down upon her beautiful creation, she realized it could never be, for all other mortal races would envy this creature's attributes. Thus, she begged Lorminstra for one of the souls she would ordinarily allow through the Ebon Gates. Using this soul, she re-animated the fallen sylvan, and charged him with the care of birds, and made him caretaker of the Four Winds.

Jaston's form is that of a sylvan elf with long brown hair, hazel eyes, a slender build and six white-feathered wings growing from his back. He dons green breeches and many-colored feathered bands about his head, arms and wrists. In manner, he is lighthearted and playful. His symbol is a white feather on a field of green and white.

Shrines, Statuary, and Holy Places

Solhaven Cleric Guild

In the Hall of Lessons inside the Solhaven Cleric Guild was a holy shrine dedicated to Jaston.

[Cleric Guild, Hall of Lessons]
A high ceiling rises in a curving upwards arc, the stone tinted a soft shade of white reminiscent of summer clouds. Subtle engravings mark the white stone, their simplistic wavy forms looking like currents of gentle wind. The flowing patterns of air coalesce around the statue of a winged man with a boyish grin on his face standing to the southwest. A mottled blue and misty grey altar stands before the man, an open tome resting upon its whorled surface.

K>look Jaston
The lighthearted and carefree figure of a sylvan man stands with his arms akimbo. On his face is a boyish, playful grin. Six feathered wings grow from his back. He is clad only in a pair of blousy breeches. Bands of feathers are tied around his wrists, arms and forehead.

K>touch Jaston
You reach out and touch the statue of Jaston.

A soft wave of magic flows over you, making your skin tingle with Jaston's energies.

K>look altar
Crafted from silver-blue imflass mottled with shades of cloudy grey, the altar's natural patterns resemble currents of wind flowing gently across its surface. Long feathers edge the uppermost edge of the altar, engraved as if they were floating carelessly upon the windy designs.

K>look tome
The tome isn't very large, but the leather cover of whorled green and cloudy white adds a touch of elegance to its otherwise simplistic designs. Between the two open pages is a large, white feather.
There appears to be something written on it.

K>read tome
In the Common language, it reads:
"The winds can bring a sailor good fortune. So too do Jaston's blessings, the keeper of that which every sailor prays is behind his sails."

Wehnimer's Landing Cleric Guild

Located in the Antechamber of Others is a statue of Jaston. This area is not considered a holy shrine.

Expressively posed with arms outstretched, this statue conveys the image of a sylvan elf with long brown hair, hazel eyes, a slender build, and six white-feathered wings sprouting from his back. He wears green breeches, but no shirt, and sports many-colored feathered bands about his head, arms, and wrists. The symbol at the statue's base is that of a white feather on a field of green and white.
