By casting this spell at an appropriate runestone, the caster calls forth a minor demonic being from another plane of existance. Once summoned into this realm, they are capable of preforming a host of utility functions. Demons summoned by this spell are not dangerous and cannot participate in combat. When the duration of the spell expires, the demon is returned to its valence automatically.
- The summoning and use of demons is widely shunned by most Elanthians, thus demons are considered illegal in most towns, to varying degrees.
- The Sorcerer Guild skill Illusions, can be used to cloak the demons, allowing them to bypass such legal restraints.
