The Festival of the Fallen is a free festival held within Ta'Vaalor.

The Festival of the Fallen runs September 9 - 12, 2021, and is hosted outside of Ta'Vaalor on Neartofar Road.

Piles of wood and scrap metal clutter the open-air smithy that occupies this portion of walkway. A sturdy rock forge and leather bellows sit beneath a brightly striped canvas awning bearing the golden wyvern of House Vaalor. A heavy weapons rack stands between two sturdy armor stands that proudly display the blacksmith's wares.

Dark and dusty, this small underground chamber holds large piles of coal. Magical globes light a strange contraption formed of a cloth belt on metal rollers that leads from a small pile up to a trapdoor in the ceiling.

The well-kept wagon is outfitted with a built-in cedar and oak rack that runs the length of the entire back wall. Two cheery arrangements of feathery yellow-dotted fennel and goldenrod stalks flank a hammered copper mantle on the opposite side of the room.

Luxurious panels of ebon silk interspersed with ivory velvet hang from the walls, stitched with a variety of raixan-related imagery. An ebonwood figure and a darkened cedar mannequin pose in one corner amongst tall lapis lazuli vases overflowing with brilliant chrysanthemums and spider lilies. Blossoming Skies, Shiri Tea

[Blossoming Skies, Shiri Tea]
Open and airy, the area is draped with ivory velvet patterned with gold-stitched tea leaves. A silvery alder table rests on the aromatic cedar flooring, and a brilliant display of tea plants and herbs sits behind a golden rowan counter, with a small rowan cart off to one side. You also see a midnight black velvet curtain.

Each tea jar bears the symbol of their dai, and the tea within is the traditional shiri tea.  Crystallized lotus should be added to the Eloth and Volnath brews, and the Valaka blend is best with fresh honey. At the rear of the wagon, a magnificent portrait of a fair-haired elf with somber grey eyes hangs above a low table, the makeshift shrine crowded with flickering votive candles amidst ornamented pots of smoking incense. A metal garment rack and a wardrobe with garnet cloisonne inlay face each other from opposite sides of the entry.

Benches with armrests have been affixed to the ironwood walls with brass fittings facing the interior. A carved display table stands in the center of the room, while at the far end of the wagon an imperial staircase hugs the wall in both directions, leading up to a brass-railed loft that overlooks the entire carriage from overhead.
