The burrow orc would stand roughly six feet high, were he not stooped over. He is thinner and more gaunt than the land-roaming orcs, with sickly white skin and no hair on his smelly frame. He seems more interested in stuffing himself and protecting his burrow than anything else.

Hunting Strategies

The greater burrow orc has a maneuver where he tries to fling dirt at you:

A greater burrow orc begins to dig up clods of dirt and fling them towards you almost as fast as you can dodge them.
Roundtime: 4 sec.

A greater burrow orc rushes out of a burrow, bellowing a challenge!

A greater burrow orc rumbles in, a throaty grunt preceding his arrival.
A greater burrow orc thrusts her snout out as if daring someone to slap it.

A greater burrow orc backs hastily up and holds his palms out in front of him.

A greater burrow orc reaches behind her and begins to scratch her rump.

A greater burrow orc grunts, "Takarl anaakharlr glarlp and og'll bur arur barnarls harlrarl aru gland."

A greater burrow orc grunts, "Og'tr garnna arlnjar barlatogng <Character> tar darlath."
A greater burrow orc rumbles west, sending a throaty grunt before her.
A greater burrow orc growls one last time and dies.
Upon Loot or Decay
A greater burrow orc wastes away to nothing.

Other Information

The greater burrow orcs found outside of Wehnimer's Landing live in an earthen burrow excavated from the base of Melgorehn's Reach and towards a chasm in the Upper Trollfang. Excavation of these burrows appears to be done by hand using rough digging tools and buckets. The tools are found in the in the Tool Room (u2148037) and Excavation site (u2148040). In the Dirt Room (u214038), a bucket can be found:

The maker of these buckets was not a proficient handyman. The handles are inverted, making carrying difficult, and each bucket has at least one hole in the bottom. It is likely that more dirt falls out the bottom of the buckets than is transported by them.

The greater burrow orc society also appears to have a shaman (Shaman's Chambers [u2148032]) and chieftain (Chieftain's Chamber [u2148035]).

In the Shaman's Chamber, you can find some bones that have strange runes on them.

Primitive bleaching has turned these bones a light tan. Strange runes have been carved into the ends. Some look familiar, like axes, spears, and other weapons, but others hold no meaning for you. You suspect that these are a divination tool for the orcish shaman that lives here.

Greater burrow orcs also seem to enjoy alcohol, if the Barracks (u2148034) are any indication.

Greater burrow orcs are hated enemies of the Guardians of Sunfist.
