Synopsis

A ship sails into view of Darkstone Bay, then a flicker of golden light--it's Tyrrax! People go to the Black Sands to await his arrival, but first they hear the sound of krolvin barking along the shore. A few people discover a path leading to the new krolvin settlement and explore while others wait at the entrance for Tyrrax's arrival--and he arrives soon enough with his magic portal rings. Wanting to see the completed area, he heads inside and people follow, so Tyrrax has everyone just group up on him.

Tyrrax notes the flags inside the settlement, presses his palms against some totems, greets a pit fighter, swats aside a young krolvin boy trying to land a blow on him with a wooden sword, greets storytelling warriors, visits the bonfire area, checks the sea charting pavilion, greets a fisherman, inspects the storage, observes the metalcraft workshop, greets a blood shaman, approvingly observes the anchor forge, and finally stops in the tavern to talk with everyone.

Tyrrax raises a toast to beginnings, then it's on to business as he wants to discuss the Talon of Toullaire. Councilor Vaemyr and Leafiara catch him up on recent events, though Tyrrax doesn't know who Estrion is; Xorus draws a comparison Tyrrax would understand, describing him as a stormcrow who made the storm over the nearby castle. Tyrrax briefly listens to something invisible in a corner of the room, then asks everyone if they agree we'll kill the ice woman and take the Talon.

Disagreement arises on topics including whether to kill or capture Octaven, whether Octaven will be easy to kill, whether Estrion will be easy to kill, who constitutes "we," and more. Perhaps the most predominant argument steps from Magister Raelee asking what Tyrrax would hypothetically do with the Talon after he uses it to destroy Grishom Stone; he says he won't need it afterward and they can have it since he'll have the Star (of Khar'ta). Envoy Tikba and Vaemyr acknowledge that if Tyrrax could just kill Octaven himself, they can't stop him from taking the Talon. He agrees it's spoils of war and says he'll kill her now, then leaves.

...and then he returns, because he was joking at Sablo's expense (from when he charged in blind to arrest Octaven). As the discussion continues, it seems to eventually move toward Tyrrax returning the Talon to the Hall of Mages after he's done with it--or possibly as soon as it's acquired, if the Hall will use the Talon against Stone. However, Tyrrax considers that unlikely since Stone is still alive despite Raelee saying that the Hall had the Talon for centuries. Tyrrax listens to something invisible again and Councilor Kayse asks who or what it is, but Tyrrax doesn't answer. He moves back to the main topic he wants and says he trusts everyone else to decide where they want the Talon to go in the end since they're allies, but he wants it in the middle. Tyrrax gives a last toast to beginnings and allies, then leaves for the night.

Tyrrax's Approach

[General] Murharzarm thinks, "Hm. Not green for once."

[General] Directed to Murharzarm, Mauss asks, "...Hmm?"

[General] Murharzarm thinks, "It's snowing a bit."

[General] Directed to Murharzarm, Mauss exclaims, "If yer talkin' bout tart dough, thass a very very good thing!"

[General] Mauss muses, "...Unless yer one o' them spinach tart people. but thass just weird."

[General] Stormyrain thinks, "Seems to be a ship coming into Darkstone Bay."

[General] Vadya thinks, "Seems so."

[General] Mauss deadpans, "...So's a normal Leyan evenin', seems like."

[General] Akaylas asks, "Do ships normally come into darkstone bay and make their presence aware?"

[travel]

[Town Square Central]

This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing. The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith. At the north end, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded from the moonlight by a strong, robust tree. The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep. You also see the Shalaara disk, the repousse copper Perigourd disk raised in leafy designs, the Pukk disk, the drake-incised Draelor disk, the Silenthand disk, a pretty flower girl, the Vaardonian disk, the Fizt disk, the clam-shaped Monza disk, a disheveled black fox, a tiny kitten, a large acorn, a silver-inlaid salvage crate, some wide stone benches with some stuff on it, an herbal remedy donation bin and a round silver-banded barrel.

Also here: Whimweaver Leafiara, Great Lady Shalaara, Conquerer of Reim Cryheart, Perigourd, Pukk, Draelor, Silenthand, Maedoc, Asben, Qurak, Vaardonian, Fizt, Lady Guennwhfar, Monza, Andromalius who is sitting

[General] Mauss scoffs, "If they's tryin' ta start somethin', yep, absolutely."

A flicker of golden light appears in the distance of Darkstone Bay.

Leafiara pleasedly says, "Oh, Tyrrax."

Pukk says, "Uh oh."

Leafiara recites:

"Join up and we'll head to the sands!"

Pukk recites:

"Everybody join Cryheart!"

Leafiara says, "Cryheart already ran off."

Pukk says, "Oh."

Pukk says, "He isn't here."

Leafiara exclaims, "To the sands!"

Pukk recites:

"Everybody join Leafiara"

[General] Akaylas thinks, "Seems like I should put my alchemy gear away."

Pukk says, "The prettier Cryheart."

Alosaka says, "Tyrrax is still our enemy."

[The Black Sands]

A narrow strip of black sand winds between the pulsing sea and the huddled rocks. You look out at the dark waters of the bay, set against the grey sky. With the black sands beneath your feet and the frozen black lava behind you, you feel as though all the color has been blotted out of the world. You also see the waters of Darkstone Bay and a tall wooden archery tower.

Also here: Town Councilor Vaemyr

Pukk and Alosaka followed.

A shadowy gloom swiftly pushes upward from the ground. When the darkness lifts, Tikba is standing in its place.

Leafiara asks, "Or... wait, is he landing here or at the docks?"

Leafiara muses, "I mean, we do have an accord with him..."

Tikba rhetorically asks, "Who can say?"

Vaemyr asks, "I assume here, since this is where the settlers are staying?"

Alosaka says, "I would hope we don't allow his ship in our port."

A speck of golden light floats above the waters of Darkstone Bay, drifting towards the black sands.

[General] Leafiara thinks, "We have eyes at the sands, so if he lands here, we'll know. But if he lands in town--"

[General] Leafiara thinks, "Ah, no, seems he's coming here."

Vaemyr says, "Answers that question."

[General] Dendum thinks, "The Krolvin...."

Speaking to Alosaka, Tikba asks, "They are to be citizens of the Landing. If we will trust them to work on ships in our dock, should we not trust them to dock there?"

Speaking to Tikba, Perigourd asks, "If their settlement is beyond the palisade, how can they be citizens?"

Leafiara asks, "Wait, was citizenship included or were they just working with us on shipbuilding?"

Leafiara acknowledges, "I don't recall the mayor's exact terms, I'll admit."

[General] Mauss sighs, "Seein' as Pookia's still on vacay... Guessin' I'll hike on over."

Speaking to Leafiara, Vaemyr says, "Just working."

Tikba says, "We stated that they would be governed by the Landing's laws."

Tikba says, "If that is so, then they must be citizens."

Some wild barking can be heard somewhere along the shore.

Leafiara amiably says, "Well, I'm alright with it either way."

Speaking to Tikba, Perigourd asks, "Than the Landing is claiming legal enforcement beyond the walls?"

Vaemyr says, "Perhaps we should be looking for the encampment."

Dendum says, "Well at least these Krolvin act like Krolvin...."

Citan deeply says, "Some dogg."

Speaking blandly to Perigourd, Tikba says, "There will be walls around the krolvin settlement."

Citan deeply says, "'Dogg's eh."

Speaking to Tikba, Perigourd asks, "Contiguous to the Landing's?"

Speaking thoughtfully to Tikba, Missoni asks, "Do the laws not apply to non-citizens?"

Some wild barking can be heard somewhere along the shore. [OOC note: Yes, it's a repeat; Leafi didn't catch the hint to look around until the second time this line showed up. Perigourd's group might have been the same or it could have a different situation like his character not wanting to go see.]

Missoni amusedly says, "Perhaps I should be breaking more rules."

Speaking to Leafiara, Vaemyr asks, "Perhaps we should look around for where it's coming from?"

Leafiara recalls, "If I remember correctly, this area was chosen to help the krolvin refugees partially because it's not within the barony's jurisdiction."

Citan deeply says, "So... Will have all all kinda settlements around here...."

Leafiara agrees, "Indeed, looking around!"

Touring the Krolvin Settlement

[The Black Sands]

Waves roll up onto the dull black beach, the seafoam tracing lacy patterns against the dark background. Flies buzz among the rotting seaweed, rising up in swarms as you pass. To the northwest, a pillar of rock rises out of the water. You also see a hardened path of black sand and a tall wooden archery tower.

[Leafi passes it, but then I immediately notice, so she heads back before Vaemyr can finish saying...]

Vaemyr says, "That path."

>go path

Where are you trying to go?

>go sand

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Entrance]

The coarse black sand of Darkstone Bay crunches underfoot, marking the entrance of the krolvin camp. Tattered flags, bearing green stars and the emblems of fierce sea creatures flutter in the salty sea breeze.

Obvious paths: north, east, west, out

Asben, Dendum, Pukk and Vaemyr followed.

Dendum says, "Hrmm."

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Battleground]

Krolvin warriors, some aged and some young, spar with wooden swords and staves in a circular arena bordered by black rocks in the packed sand. The sounds of clashing and grunting echo through the camp. You also see a scar-covered krolvin pit fighter.

Vaemyr says, "Here we go."

Dendum says, "Interesting."

>l fight

With sharp yellow eyes and grayish-blue skin, the krolvin fighter has more scars than unblemished flesh. He stands at the edge of the makeshift arena in the sand, occasionally barking at other krolvin and correcting their stances and battle techniques.

Leafiara amiably greets, "Good eve!"

[OOC note: stopped to check if there were any point-and-click options, but none for him nor other krolvin NPCs in the area]

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Shipwright]

Amidst a pile of planks and ropes, some aged krolvin shipbuilders repair small boats and other various building activities. Some small vessels have been moored nearby at the edge of the black sands. You also see a seaweed hut and a wide wooden forge.

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Seaweed Hut]

The humble abode is made entirely of dried seaweed and driftwood. The interior holds simple cots and is illuminated by softly glowing lanterns. You also see a heavy robed krolvin blood shaman.

[General] Vaemyr thinks, "There is a hardened path on the black sands that leads into the Krolvin settlement."

Pukk barks wildly at a heavy robed krolvin blood shaman!

Pukk says, "I just said hello."

[General] Leafiara affably exclaims, "Seems they've constructed quite a start!"

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Anchor Forge]

A massive forge dominates the far side of the building, with krolvin workers hammering away to work on anchors and ship fittings. Sparks fly as metal strikes heated metal and the air about the area shimmers from the fires.

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Totem Grounds]

The ground is smooth here and seemingly stained with dried liquid in several patches. Three tall totems, carved of driftwood and adorned with seashells, rise up like great wooden monoliths.

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Clearing]

A blazing fire roars in the center of the sandy clearing, surrounded by weathered krolvin warriors recounting tales of the sea and periodically erupting in barking laughter. The flames of the bonfire dance, casting eerie shadows along the edges of nearby tents.

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Wharf]

Close to the water's edge, several nets and rods are laid out. The rhythmic sound of the waves crashing provides a soothing backdrop. You also see an old thin krolvin fisherman and a makeshift driftwood tavern.

Leafiara suddenly exclaims, "Ooh! That looks like a tavern!"

[Krefkra Gzadmor, The Sandpit]

Nestled away from the camp at the edge of the water, the makeshift tavern has been cobbled from driftwood and a mix of salvaged materials. The air is thick with the scents of seaweed and smoked meat and the floor is a compact layer of gritty black sand. A scarred and grizzled krolvin barkeep tends to a long wooden counter hammered to a row of old ship barrels.

On the wooden counter:

Food/Drink [13]: an aged walrus steak, a marinated barracuda filet, a crispy grilled seal flipper, some fried squid rings, a bowl of spicy salt cod chowder, a mug of chicory coffee, a glass of thornberry juice, a tankard of icy golden lager, a flask of apricot vodka, a flask of ginger vodka, a flask of pepper vodka, a flask of coriander vodka, a flask of rosemary vodka

Asben says, "Taverns are good."

Leafiara says, "The Pookia deluxe special."

[General] Leafiara adds, "They're also serving free food! Inclcuding the Pookia deluxe special squid rings."

[Leafi leaves]

Vaemyr says, "Not bad coffee."

Dendum exclaims, "Wait go back!"

[Leafi goes back]

[Krefkra Gzadmor, The Sandpit]

The air is thick with the scents of seaweed and smoked meat and the floor is a compact layer of gritty black sand. A scarred and grizzled krolvin barkeep tends to a long wooden counter hammered to a row of old ship barrels.

Dendum pours himself a glass of thornberry juice.

Dendum exclaims, "Very well!"

Dendum exclaims, "Forward!"

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Baytower]

A tall wooden tower overlooks the bay. Krolvin guards stand watch here, their keen eyes scanning the horizon for any signs of danger. You also see a large cloth pavilion and a stained driftwood building.

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Sea Stash]

Inside the large pavilion are rows of wooden crates and barrels, each stacked meticulously along the walls. Some overflow with food, herbs and dried fish, while others hold tools and weapons, glistening menacingly in the dim light.

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Workshop]

Elderly krolvin lurch over a series of wooden desks and countertops, tirelessly crafting a myriad of jewelry and leather goods. Several crates of sharpened blades and polished breastplates are neatly stacked near the entrance.

Vaemyr says, "Looks like everyone else hanging out at the entrance."

Tyrrax-Approved

A golden speck of light drifts closer to the black sands, then expands into a flickering citrine-hued doorway as a large krolvin steps through.

[The Black Sands]

Waves roll up onto the dull black beach, the seafoam tracing lacy patterns against the dark background. Flies buzz among the rotting seaweed, rising up in swarms as you pass. To the northwest, a pillar of rock rises out of the water. You also see a distressed storm grey arashan, a hardened path of black sand and a tall wooden archery tower.

Also here: Imperatrix Lylia, Czag Pritz Tyrrax

Asben, Dendum, Pukk and Vaemyr followed.

Leafiara amiably greets, "Good evening!"

Lylia says, "You have been busy."

Dendum greets, "Czag."

Tyrrax barks loudly!

Vaemyr says, "Good evening Tyrrax."

[General] Mauss sighs, "...Allow me to be da first (?) to congratulate dem, they've hidden themselves impeccably."

Speaking politely to Tyrrax, Tikba greets, "Czag Pritz."

Tyrrax says, "I have been at sea. It is always the busy."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Perigourd says, "Assisting ships lost at sea return to port, no doubt."

[General] Leafiara thinks, "Tyrrax has come to land at the Black Sands now if any would like to join us for the meeting."

Tyrrax says, "You have strange words for things."

Tyrrax smirks at Perigourd.

Tikba mildly agrees, "Yes."

Tyrrax asks, "They are done?"

Kayse affably greets, "Fair evening all...and Tyrrax."

Tyrrax glances at a hardened path of black sand.

Speaking to Tyrrax, Vaemyr says, "Looks like mostly at least."

Tyrrax says, "No. But a beginning."

Leafiara approvingly exclaims, "If not done, then they've at least made quite a start!"

Vaemyr says, "At least a start and all."

Czag Pritz Tyrrax just went down a hardened path of black sand.

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Entrance]

The coarse black sand of Darkstone Bay crunches underfoot, marking the entrance of the krolvin camp. Tattered flags, bearing green stars and the emblems of fierce sea creatures flutter in the salty sea breeze.

Also here: Czag Pritz Tyrrax

Citan, Asben, Dendum, Pukk and Vaemyr followed.

Pukk says, "They even have fried squid rings."

A distressed storm grey arashan slowly approaches a distressed wasteland spirit with its wiry hairs twitching wildly. Satisfied, it backs away and speaks to itself in a hollow, raspy voice, "Lthyrth oun quorlthlyl."

Tyrrax looks up at some of the tattered flags, eyes drawn to the green stars.

Tyrrax says, "They do not forget."

Speaking to a distressed storm grey arashan, Xorus says, "Lyl-ia. It is pronounced 'Lylia'."

[General] Leafiara thinks, "As we now head inside the new settlement... you can look for a hardened path of black sand at, well, the Black Sands."

Tikba politely says, "Impressive work."

Speaking to Xorus, Lylia says, "It tries."

Czag Pritz Tyrrax just went east.

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Totem Grounds]

The ground is smooth here and seemingly stained with dried liquid in several patches. Three tall totems, carved of driftwood and adorned with seashells, rise up like great wooden monoliths. You also see the Verbel disk, the Craeguile disk, a distressed storm grey arashan, the web-draped Missoni disk, the Murharzarm disk, the repousse copper Perigourd disk raised in leafy designs, the discordant Tikba disk, the Stormyrain disk, the Alosaka disk, a distressed wasteland spirit that is flying around and a lazy wild blood red dog.

Tyrrax says, "You follow? May as well then..."

Tyrrax asks, "What do you call it? Cryheart?"

Tyrrax taps himself on the chest.

Cryheart begins chortling at Tyrrax.

[people start joining Tyrrax]

Leafiara recites:

"Everyone join Tyrrax!"

Cryheart says, "Leader of a group."

Cryheart says, "For movement."

Craeguile asks, "We're followin' a slaver?"

Speaking to Tyrrax, Kayse explains, "A blob..."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Vaemyr says, "Guess you are tonight's Cryheart, make sure to get lost at least once."

Tyrrax asks, "What is your movement?"

Tyrrax peers quizzically at Cryheart.

Lylia clarifies, "This is not so much following as it is supervising movements."

Speaking to Craeguile, Mauss says, "Nah, we're co-locatin'."

Tikba mildly says, "There are no slaves, nor any slavery, in the Landing."

Cryheart says, "A Tyrrax blob."

Murharzarm says, "Here I thought I was rubbernecking, personally."

Speaking to Tikba, Kayse reminds, "Dhe'nar are close enough."

Leafiara affably says, "We're just joining him. So much jumpiness sometimes."

Craeguile says, "I'm not puttin' my maul away, if he makes a sudden move...."

Tyrrax says, "Chains exist in light and dark, seen and unseen."

Tyrrax nods at Tikba.

Speaking laughingly to Cryheart, Mauss asks, "...change o' pace Sir?"

Cryheart says, "Movement equates to a tour leader."

Mourdeyan asks, "After the year we've had is it any wonder?"

Cryheart smiles at Tyrrax.

Speaking to Craeguile, Dendum says, "Perhaps you seek to become Czag? This one has a good punch."

Citan deeply says, "Look."

Tyrrax glances at Craeguile.

Tyrrax peers quizzically at Citan.

Pukk says, "Okay. Don't be so pushy."

Tyrrax turns an inquisitive ear toward Citan.

Tyrrax asks, "At?"

Citan chuckles.

Some gutteral barking erupts nearby, soon drowning out in the distance. [ambient]

Citan deeply says, "Just a word I like to blurt out."

Craeguile says, "Yer lot has history, with some of us more than most."

Tyrrax moves forward to the three totems, taking a moment to press his palm against each one, then steps away.

Tyrrax nods to the krolvin pit fighter.

The pit fighter barks loudly, nodding to Tyrrax.

Tyrrax barks loudly!

Leafiara hopefully says, "I look forward to the further development of this particular area."

Citan deeply says, "Seen mean battle's it seems."

Tyrrax watches the packed sand arena for a moment, as young and old krolvin move about, some reliving old wars, some dreaming of new ones.

Cryheart says, "It appears to be a training ground."

Tikba says, "In the Landing, we have all seen battle."

Speaking to Tikba, Mauss exclaims, "I seen plenty, from behind a half-brace o' ballistas!!"

A young krolvin with a sanded wooden sword breaks from the circular arena and rushes at Tyrrax. He slaps the sword aside, then the boy next, sending him sprawling to the sands and then rolling into a ball before springing back to his feet. Both bark at each other, nod, and the boy returns to his practice.

Speaking in Faendryl, Akaylas says something you don't understand.

Citan deeply says, "Wow.. impressive reflexes."

Tyrrax says, "No, he was not impressive."

Tyrrax says, "Not yet."

Leafiara amusedly says, "Ah, the classic overconfidence of youth."

The voice of Kayse agrees, "Not impressive at all."

Speaking to Leafiara, Perigourd says, "Sometimes it's the underestimation of age."

Perigourd says, "The sword cuts both ways."

Speaking amusedly to Perigourd, Leafiara acknowledges, "Fair."

Citan deeply says, "Well.. I mean.. I wasn't speaking of the young'n."

Craeguile says, "He's young, they'll force him to learn, or fail..."

Tikba says, "Ah, a bonfire."

Many of the krolvin warriors pause their stories to bark in greeting to Tyrrax, who nods and they return to their tales.

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Cooking Pit]

The savory aroma of roasting fish fills the air. Krolvin cooks tend to large iron spits, as others come from time to time to receive their portion of food. You also see a large maroon pavilion, a small elevated hut and obvious signs of someone hiding.

Tikba says, "We often enjoy sitting by the bonfire and passing the time with friends."

Mauss dryly remarks, "I betcha these folks are on time with their dues."

Speaking in Guildspeak, Akaylas says something you don't understand.

Mourdeyan says, "Aye, the late fees can be a killer."

Tyrrax sniffs.

Speaking in Guildspeak, Lylia says something you don't understand.

Tyrrax sniffs.

A large maroon tent stretches wide, adorned with bone trinkets. The scent of saltwater and aged leather fills the air, with walls obscured by heavy crates and iron-bound barrels.

Speaking in Guildspeak to Lylia, Akaylas says something you don't understand.

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Sea Nook]

A small, elevated hut rises up with walls open to the sky. Several stained telescopes are positioned in the center, while charts and maps are sprawled across a long wooden table.

Tyrrax nods.

Tyrrax gazes heavenward.

Alosaka cocks his head and examines the forestal chart.

Tyrrax nods.

Czag Pritz Tyrrax's group just went out.

Alosaka just went into a small elevated hut.

Citan deeply says, "Nice sea charts."

Leafiara says, "Leave it to Alosaka to head right back in there."

Speaking knowingly to Leafiara, Tikba says, "Maps."

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Wharf]

Close to the water's edge, several nets and rods are laid out. The rhythmic sound of the waves crashing provides a soothing backdrop. You also see an old thin krolvin fisherman and a makeshift driftwood tavern.

Mauss muses, "Seems they scouted out da fishin' purty good 'ereabouts."

Speaking in Guildspeak, Lylia says something you don't understand.

Tyrrax nods to the thin krolvin fisherman.

Alosaka just arrived.

Citan deeply says, "It is plentiful."

Goldstr exclaims, "Ah a Tavern!"

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Baytower]

A tall wooden tower overlooks the bay. Krolvin guards stand watch here, their keen eyes scanning the horizon for any signs of danger. You also see a large cloth pavilion and a stained driftwood building.

Leafiara approvingly says, "The best developed building I saw here so far." [we had left the room already, but she meant the tavern]

Speaking carefully in Guildspeak to Lylia, Missoni asks something you don't understand.

Alosaka explains, "There were maps on the table."

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Sea Stash]

Inside the large pavilion are rows of wooden crates and barrels, each stacked meticulously along the walls. Some overflow with food, herbs and dried fish, while others hold tools and weapons, glistening menacingly in the dim light.

Speaking to Alosaka, Stormyrain says, "Not a single of us wondered why."

Stormyrain adds, "We all surmised."

Dendum says, "Perhaps Tyrrax can send some wise ones to the landing to teach about fishing...."

Citan deeply says, "Storage eh."

Tyrrax moves along the wall, inspecting some of the wooden crates, then nods.

Speaking to Alosaka, Mourdeyan says, "It's so."

Speaking in Guildspeak to Lylia, Akaylas asks something you don't understand.

[Krefkra Gzadmor, Workshop]

Tikba says, "Impressive."

Kiyna says, "Pretty nice setup here."

Tyrrax says, "They work hard."

Cryheart says, "Interesting."

Tyrrax says, "Good."

Leafiara says, "No doubt good products will come from this forge."

Mourdeyan says, "Uh huh....very transient."

Tyrrax slowly empties his lungs.

Tyrrax sniffs.

Tyrrax sniffs.

Tyrrax nods.

Citan deeply says, "Vodka."

Craeguile says, "They seem to setting up for a prolonged settlement, or an outpost."

Tyrrax pours himself a flask of pepper vodka.

Leafiara amusedly says, "They really know their vodka."

Tyrrax raises his pepper vodka in a toast!

Tikba calmly says, "Yes, as we agreed."

Tikba says, "These are the refugees from Glaoveln."

Murharzarm says, "I believe that was in agreement from what everyone has been saying."

Kiyna laments, "So much booze... alas."

Alosaka says, "There seems to be one item that is not made of meat or alcohol."

Mourdeyan asks, "Or a huge ...party? event? brawl?"

Pukk says, "The thornberry is good."

Tyrrax takes a drink from his pepper vodka.

Speaking to Alosaka, Missoni offers, "Would you like a date?"

Leafiara carefully says, "Have to admit, I've never seen steak that looked quite like that..."

Leafiara looks thoughtfully at an aged walrus steak on a long wooden counter.

Leafiara helps herself to an aged walrus steak.

Leafiara sniffs her walrus steak.

Leafiara rubs her chin thoughtfully.

Missoni helps herself to a nut-rolled date.

Missoni offers Alosaka a nut-rolled date.

Speaking in Faendryl, Akaylas says something you don't understand.

Leafiara glances suspiciously at the walrus steak in her hand.

Leafiara ponders.

Speaking politely to Kayse, Tikba says, "Thank you."

Leafiara takes a bite of her walrus steak.

Alosaka accepts Missoni's nut-rolled date.

Tyrrax says, "Taste."

Tyrrax nods at Leafiara.

Speaking surprisedly to Tyrrax, Leafiara exclaims, "It's quite good!"

Speaking to Tikba, Kayse reasons, "I figured the lager was the safest bet considering your love for winterberry."

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk says, "Take some of that steak for Owly."

Vaemyr says, "Oh not bad at all."

Speaking to Kayse, Tikba explains, "Winterberry is sweet."

Speaking to Tikba, Kayse counters, "Not that much."

Tyrrax says, "Begins."

Tyrrax shakes his head.

Kiyna says, "Winterberry is delicious."

Tyrrax says, "Beginnings."

Tyrrax raises his pepper vodka in a toast!

Tyrrax takes a drink from his pepper vodka.

Tyrrax looks rather relaxed.

Mauss loudly asks, "Not even two years ago, this ...person... was sending his goons to break our walls? And you swill his swill?"

Speaking to Asben, Markx says, "I find you."

Murharzarm says, "It's not wine, but when in Landing."

Tyrrax peers quizzically at Mauss.

Mauss sneers at Tyrrax.

Lylia smoothly says, "Politics makes for the strangest of bedfellows."

Speaking offhandedly to Mauss, Leafiara explains, "He was misled by an older plot from a schemer."

Speaking mildly to Mauss, Tikba says, "We have turned an enemy into an ally. He will not threaten us in future."

Mauss says, "Be fools if you want to. Not me."

Leafiara adds, "...as were the rest of us, for that matter."

Tyrrax asks, "How is something so tiny so loud?"

Tyrrax glances at Mauss.

Alosaka says, "We drink for peace."

Cryheart says, "Time will tell."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Craeguile grumbles, "I hadn't heard of the politcal wranglings.... if they are true refugees, they deserve at least a chance of a welcome..."

Speaking to Mauss, Sareyna says, "Didn't your mother tell you your face will get stuck like that."

Tyrrax nods at Craeguile.

Speaking to Tyrrax, Kiyna says, "We're just like that."

Speaking to Sareyna, Mauss says, "Go ahead. Drink the swill."

Speaking to Craeguile, Leafiara says, "Some months ago, a Glaoveln volcano erupted. Many refugees went to various places--some to Icemule, some to Vornavis, but Tyrrax's people mostly preferred to come here, not trusting the other two locations."

Leafiara adds, "...a lot to Icemule, actually."

Lylia murmurs, "Pity about what happened on Glaoveln."

Dendum says, "Many many to icemule..."

Vaemyr says, "I look forward to continued partnerships, I believe your builders here will have a lot to offer us, and we can provide resources that might not otherwise be available in return."

Dendum says, "But they are sick Krolvin in Icemule."

Dendum says, "These here at least still act like Krolvin..."

Sareyna says, "Well mister observant if you were truly paying attention you would have seen i have noy paryaken of anything."

Speaking to Leafiara, Dendum says, "The ones up north follow a....trader..."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Mauss asks, "And while we're at it, ain' it funny how someone so small could put so many trees thru alla yer hairy goons?"

Murharzarm says, "Besides, even beyond basic humanitarian... sentinentarian? goals a show of good will can be important to changing a situation for the better, politically."

Speaking to Leafiara, Craeguile says, "And here I thought they'd setup without invite, that does settle the hackles some."

Krolvin warriors clad in bone-adorned armor march in disciplined formation along the shore. [ambient]

Talon Talk

Citan deeply asks, "So... Now that the settlement is establish'd... What's the goal now...?"

Citan deeply asks, "Is this a safe haven for all?"

Speaking incredulously to Citan, Mauss asks, "Surely ya ain' askin' of Tyrrax?"

Tyrrax says, "We speak of the Talon."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Vaemyr says, "Octaven has gone rogue and messes with it and other things in Darkstone it seems, the ghost of Estrion has awoken and has been kinda trying to kill us all too."

Leafiara says, "I'm guessing you've already learned that Octaven--err, the ice queen has begun attacking us."

Tyrrax looks to the corner of the tavern for a moment, as if listening to something, then nods.

Leafiara wryly says, "Well, no need for me to guess since Vaemyr just said it."

Leafiara chuckles.

Tyrrax says, "I do not know your Estrion."

Dendum says, "It is an oldd spirit thing."

Tyrrax nods at Leafiara.

Murharzarm says, "A spirit in a Castle who is very... extra and troublesome."

Tyrrax says, "You defended ice woman, kept me from her."

Tyrrax says, "What is word for that now...."

Tyrrax ponders.

Thrassus says, "Quite the place here."

Xorus says, "He is a stormcrow who made the storm over the castle near here."

Leafiara asks, "Irony? Treachery?"

Tyrrax nods at Xorus.

Speaking to Tyrrax, Craeguile says, "Hypocracy..."

Tyrrax points at Leafiara.

Tikba evenly says, "He is an enemy."

Lylia says, "Diplomacy."

Vaemyr says, "He tried to summon Sheru there with two others."

Desorceri says, "Aha."

Alosaka says, "He is a ghost who's forgotten he is dead. We will remind him soon enough."

Tyrrax says, "We will kill her."

Leafiara affirms, "We will."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Goldstr says, "Hopes ye do."

Cryheart asks, "Ye speaking of Magister Octaven?"

Dendum exclaims, "Former Magister!"

Dendum says, "So it is proclaimed."

Tyrrax says, "Yes, ice woman, and we take her glowing claw."

Tyrrax asks, "Agreed?"

Speaking to Tyrrax, Raelee says, "... no."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Dendum says, "Does the Tyrrax not have enough....trinkets of magic..."

Tyrrax says, "You are one of ice women."

Cryheart says, "I think we should cooperate in restraining her."

Tyrrax nods at Raelee.

Speaking to Tyrrax, Thrassus says, "She is not an easy kill, and she has a extremely powerful ally who you very well might not be able to kill."

Tyrrax shrugs.

Speaking to Tyrrax, Kiyna says, "I think the 'we' in that assessment is a bit more complicated than you're imagining."

Tikba carefully says, "Once she is dead we will determine how best to use the Talon."

Tikba carefully says, "On that we can agree."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Raelee corrects, "My primary element is fire."

Tyrrax says, "Seem cold to me."

Tyrrax nods at Raelee.

Lylia carefully says, "Yes, we intend to have the Talon."

Speaking to Tikba, Perigourd says, "The Talon does not belong to "we"."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Raelee asks, "... you want the Talon to destroy Stone. Hypothetically, after he has been vanquished, what will you do with it then?"

Cryheart says, "The Talon is a dangerous artifact, and should nae be left to just anyone."

Tyrrax says, "Do not need Talon in the end. You can have it. The Star will be ours."

Speaking mildly to Perigourd, Tikba says, "The owner of the Talon is a criminal against the Landing. It is forfeit."

Speaking to Tikba, Raelee asks, "And what of the people she stole it from? Do they have no right?"

Speaking to Tikba, Perigourd says, "I'll remind the Constable."

Leafiara says, "She stole it from Dennet and he's long dead."

Leafiara mutters, "At least I hope."

Lylia adds, "It would not be the first artifact stolen in such fashion."

Xorus says, "And he took it from the Hall, and the Hall took it from the ruins of the Arcanum."

Citan deeply says, "Lager is quite tasty."

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk says, "Now you cursed us..."

Speaking airily to Leafiara, Kayse says, "I wouldn't mind the opportunity to kill the man myself."

Speaking to Leafiara, Vaemyr says, "Please don't jinx us... we don't need anymore right now."

Speaking wryly to Pukk, Leafiara says, "Listen, I'm just glad he wasn't Gnul like I began wondering at one point."

Leafiara says, "Thankfully, it was a *different* Grand Magister supplying Gnul with his intel."

Speaking carefully to Raelee, Tikba says, "I am not sure who Octaven stole the Talon from. It sounds as though others are not sure either."

Tikba carefully says, "We must certainly determine who could put it to best use."

Tyrrax says, "Like battle pit, you speak in circles."

Lylia says, "Surely you are used to it by now."

Tyrrax says, "Your ship at sea just spins."

Kayse dryly says, "It's our favorite past time."

Tyrrax says, "No."

Cryheart says, "The bottom line is we cooperate together to restrain and contain Octaven."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Tikba says, "As you say. In plain words, then, we cannot promise you the Talon."

Lylia says, "Mm. You get used to not getting used to it, in time."

Tyrrax asks, "Restrain, contain, release?"

Tyrrax smirks.

Cryheart says, "Nae release."

Speaking to Tikba, Stormyrain says, "He has stated he does not wish the Talon. He seeks the Star."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Dendum asks, "Would prefer to be put back in the jail?"

Lylia says, "Catch and release."

Tyrrax says, "You may try."

Tyrrax nods at Dendum.

Speaking to Tyrrax, Dendum says, ""Is no great honor redefeating fallen foe."

Speaking to Cryheart, Kiyna says, "I think confining Octaven is a -very- optimistic notion."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Craeguile says, "They want you to spare the ice queen, then kill her... then take the talon, but not take it for yourself."

Tyrrax asks, "You do not have Talon, this is truth?"

Vaemyr says, "I mean Octaven has killed many, including witch hunters sent to kill her, I'm not sure we can go after her with the goal of "restrain" we need to eliminate the threat."

Leafiara says, "For whatever it's worth, Cordarius acknowledged the possibility that capture might not be feasible."

Tyrrax nods at Craeguile.

Speaking to Dendum, Mauss says, "You should repeat that to yerself tonight. Eight or Ten times."

Tyrrax asks, "You have not killed this ice woman, this is truth?"

Thrassus says, "I prefer secure, contain, and protect when it comes to dangerous artifacts."

Cryheart says, "So far."

Leafiara ruefully says, "It's truth."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Missoni says, "Correct."

Murharzarm says, "I don't think there'd be so much back and forth over who's owed it when it's reclaimed if someone had it."

Tyrrax asks, "But if I kill ice woman, you take Talon?"

Tikba frankly asks, "Can you kill the ice woman?"

Missoni says, "She is not yours to bring to justice."

Cryheart says, "The Talon originally belonged to others."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Craeguile says, "Or you take the talon, then you can dance in "diplomacy"."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Kayse says, "You just spoke of not going in circles, yet you do it now. You said you didn't want the talon. Let us move on."

Raelee says, "And when you kill the woman, that does not simply eliminate the threat. She has altered much about this region and much of that danger will linger - talking to her is vital, before she is simply executed."

Tyrrax says, "I am not here for justice."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Perigourd says, "We're well aware."

Speaking to Perigourd, Darphin says, "Sounds like that Orb of Kai they are talking about in the Mule would be helpful."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Perigourd says, "You never have been."

Tyrrax says, "I do not care for the people she has bled along the way, or will."

Tyrrax says, "I do not want Talon in end."

Tyrrax nods at Kayse.

Tyrrax says, "But I want it in middle."

Leafiara says, "Ah, you want the Talon now before Stone is defeated, but not afterward."

Mourdeyan says, "I uldn't either."

Giant conch shells serve as makeshift trumpets, announcing the changing of watch shifts among the krolvin guards who patrol nearby. [ambient]

Cryheart asks, "For what purpose do you want to use the Talon?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Vaemyr says, "End result is he wants the star, everything else is a means to an end."

Dendum says, "The Krolvin wants the Talon to kill Stone and take the Star."

Tyrrax glances at Cryheart.

Tyrrax nods at Dendum.

Dendum says, "He has said this."

Tyrrax points at Dendum.

Cryheart nods.

Perigourd asks, "Does he wish to kill Stone though, or simply to acquire the Star?"

Tyrrax says, "I am not complex to you, I hope."

Speaking to Perigourd, Mourdeyan says, "Yes."

Tyrrax says, "No hooks and hooks and strings and nets."

Mourdeyan says, "My guess."

Leafiara opines, "Not complex to me, at least."

Cryheart says, "Just clarifying."

Cryheart smiles at Tyrrax.

Kayse says, "We are jumping ahead twenty seven problems worrying about Stone at the moment."

Speaking to Perigourd, Darphin says, "I am sure one is going to be difficult with out the other."

Tikba says, "Octaven is in Darkstone Castle. If you can enter it, and kill her, without our help, then you can do what you wish with the Talon."

Speaking to Kayse, Leafiara says, "That's a fair point."

Tikba says, "If you need our help, then you will need to wait for the Talon."

Speaking to Kayse, Craeguile says, "Stone is always the problem, and should not be ignored."

Speaking amusedly to Tikba, Leafiara says, "And that's a brute reality."

Kayse repeats, "As the Magister just said, we need to speak to Octaven before anything is done to her."

Tyrrax asks, "What if you need my help?"

Tyrrax asks, "Then you wait for Talon?"

Tyrrax peers quizzically at Tikba.

Dendum asks, ""Glaoveln is still in ruins....why do you still wish for the Star?"

Dendum says, "You are already the Czag of this....fort...thing..."

Tyrrax says, "Star is more than all, surely you know."

Vaemyr says, "I mean, in my opinion if you deal with Octaven then whatever you take is whatever you take, it's not much different from when we adventurers hunt and loot things off of monsters. If we kill her, I would expect us to do the same. If we cooperate then perhaps we work out a deal ahead of time."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Dendum says, "Star is ship to take you to power...but again you are already Czag of what is left...."

Speaking amusedly to Tyrrax, Tikba says, "If we help each other, then we will be friends, and there will be time to discuss the Talon again."

Tyrrax says, "Left and more."

Tyrrax nods at Dendum.

Tikba says, "Perhaps you may convince the skeptics."

Tyrrax peers quizzically at Vaemyr.

Desorceri says, "I can hold the Talon. I have plenty of room."

Tyrrax nods at Vaemyr.

Tyrrax says, "Spoils of war then."

Tyrrax disbands his group.

Tyrrax says, "Kill her now."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Dendum says, "You can not unit the Krolvin on the Black Sands."

Czag Pritz Tyrrax just marched out.

Czag Pritz Tyrrax just arrived.

Tyrrax smirks.

Vaemyr asks, "Done already?"

Leafiara admits, "That was a good one."

Tyrrax says, "It was my Sablo."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Dendum says, ""They will not all fit here."

Tyrrax says, "I know of human's folly."

Vaemyr says, "I mean that would be certainly one less problem we woudl have."

Kiyna amusedly admits, "I'd give it to 'im if he managed it in five seconds."

Tikba amusedly says, "The humans have many follies. Sablo, at least, is not one."

Mourdeyan says, "That kind of problem always begets another."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Mauss says, "I do as well. Plenty are here. Buying your bait hook, line, and sinker."

Mourdeyan says, "Or a dozen."

Tikba says, "You would like Sablo. He is like you, but less articulate."

Speaking to Tikba, Dendum says, ""Perhaps a bit too blood thirsty for the Krolvin."

Leafiara adds, "And far less studied."

Tyrrax says, "In sea, you would be first with hook in wide mouth."

Tyrrax nods at Mauss.

Mauss barks wildly at Tyrrax!

Mauss barks wildly at Tyrrax!

Speaking to Tyrrax, Mauss says, "I speak Truth. To... whatevva the heck yer supposed to be, now."

Tyrrax asks, "I would return Talon in end. You do not trust?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Dendum says, ""This Krolvin wants the Star to unite the Krolvin...but he has no home to take them to...."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Raelee asks, "Return to who, exactly?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Dendum says, "Just this camp...on the sand...near the landing."

Tyrrax says, "Throw in air, let you fall over it. I do not care."

Thrassus says, "Tyrrax hasn't lied to us yet, to be honest."

Mauss loudly sighs, "Is this seriously our foreign ...policy, now?"

Raelee says, "... that is not a return."

Speaking to Thrassus, Perigourd says, "He lies to his own people."

Tyrrax asks, "Who then?"

Mauss asks, "The enemy of our ex-enemy, is our friend...??"

Tyrrax asks, "Do you even know? How am I to know?"

Leafiara says, "This all sounds fine to me, but as Tikba mentioned, there are others more, uh--skeptical."

Speaking to Thrassus, Perigourd says, "That is how he achieved his current status."

Tyrrax peers quizzically at Perigourd.'

Thrassus says, "That's his buisness. What is important is how he has dealt with us."

Mauss asks, "As long as we can promise 'im somethin' shiny?"

Speaking to Tyrrax, Perigourd says, "L'alk Morgil."

Speaking to Raelee, Craeguile asks, "Do you propose we know who should rightfully hold the Talon?"

Perigourd stares at Tyrrax.

Speaking carefully to Tyrrax, Tikba suggests, "Magister Raelee is a representative of the Hall of Mages. She could determine whom to return it to."

Speaking to Craeguile, Raelee says, "The Hall of Mages. We held it for centuries."

Tyrrax asks, "Is Talon theirs?"

Tyrrax asks, "Who made Talon?"

Craeguile says, "And look what became of that responsibility."

Darphin says, "Look, ill keep it safe till ya'll decide who should have it."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Thrassus says, "The Ur-Daemon."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Raelee says, "It is thought to be an Ur-Daemon artifact. I do not think you will locate an Ur-Daemon to give it to."

Cryheart says, "Perhaps it would better in the hands of the Hall of Mages."

Mauss drawls, "I can NOT believe what I am hearin'."

Tyrrax asks, "Line goes Ur'Daemon to Hall to Tyrrax?"

Mourdeyan says, "And there he is."

Tikba amusedly says, "I have not known a krolvin before to be so concerned about provenance."

Tikba says, "If you return the Talon to the Hall of Mages, you will satisfy some who will not be satisfied otherwise. Perhaps that is leadership."

Cryheart says, "Perhaps now is not the time to discuss this matter until cooler heads can gather and discuss further."

Leafiara asks, "Ur'Daemon to Hall to Tyrrax to Hall? Is that the most agreeable plan?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Raelee says, "Most? No. Better than some other options... yes."

Tyrrax asks, "Will Hall use Talon against heretic?"

Speaking to Raelee, Leafiara muses, "Fair."

Alosaka hopefully asks, "'Is there a way to destroy this thing?"

Mauss says, "Yas go ahead and trust this would-be-conqueror dog-man, and swill his swill, and hear his forked tongue, if yas will! I'm leavin' back fer lands where folks talk plain."

Murharzarm says, "This feel likes the type of thing more suited for proper negotiation rather than going in circle in front of a large crowd, yes."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Raelee says, "If the Talon is required to destroy Stone, the Hall will likely employ it."

Speaking helpfully to Alosaka, Tikba suggests, "There is an obelisk."

Tyrrax looks into the corner of the room, listening to something, then nods.

Tyrrax says, "Unlikely."

Tyrrax nods at Raelee.

Speaking to Tyrrax, Raelee asks, "Based upon what?"

Speaking offhandedly to Alosaka, Leafiara says, "If I remember, it's called the 'Talon of Toullaire' because it survived the destruction of Toullaire--or even possibly caused it. So the answer might actually be no."

Alosaka says, "We could potentially destroy multiple problems with one shot from the obelisk."

Tyrrax says, "He still lives."

Speaking mildly to Alosaka, Tikba says, "I have often thought that."

Kayse whispers something to Stormyrain.

Tyrrax says, "Talon from ice woman, to Tyrrax, to...which you decide."

Speaking abruptly to Tyrrax, Kayse asks, "Who are you speaking with? Or listening to?"

Tyrrax asks, "Little window chiefs, vote in circle and decide?"

Tyrrax says, "It does not matter."

Tyrrax glances at Kayse.

Alosaka says, "If we brought the Talon to Darkstone, where Octaven is, we could fix three problems with one Obelisk."

Lylia says, "If you are seeking counsel that hides itself in the shadows, I would think that matters."

Cryheart says, "I would suggest a delay in making a hasty decision. Put this off until you think with a clear mind."

(Kayse walks over to the corner of the room, her eyes scanning around.)

Speaking to Alosaka, Vaemyr says, "Octaven has the talon, in darkstone, currently, at least last we all saw."

Lylia notes, "I never hid my advisor."

Leafiara says, "The obelisk barely destroyed part of a valley and some are entertaining the idea that it could destroy an artifact that survived the explosion that created the Wizardwaste..."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Perigourd says, "One would imagine it doesn't leave her person."

Alosaka says, "So really all we need to do is fire the obelisk."

Speaking to Alosaka, Tikba says, "I have often thought that too."

Speaking to Leafiara, Raelee says, "I agree, the obelisk is likely not nearly powerful enough in this situation."

Dendum asks, ""You want an obelisk to go with that Talon?"

Tyrrax says, "We will want Talon in middle, not in end. You decide the end."

Speaking to Leafiara, Alosaka observes, "A suit of armor is difficult to destroy, until you use a scalpel to cut the ties holding it together. Things that are invincible in one orientation may be quite vulnerable in another."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Kayse reminds, "You did not answer me."

Tyrrax says, "Not complexicated."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Dendum corrects, "Complicated."

Tyrrax ponders.

Speaking to Alosaka, Lylia says, "What an outstanding analogy."

Tyrrax says, "Complicated."

Mourdeyan says, "Have a care for you warrior."

[General] Dumple exclaims, "Oke longterm weapon material opinions go!"

Dendum says, "It is silly language."

Tyrrax glances at Kayse.

(Kayse glances over her shoulder at the corner then back at Tyrrax again, an eyebrow quirked upwards.)

Dendum says, "Ok....let us go kill a former magister....."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Vaemyr says, "Well you know the whole too many chiefs problem we have, but if it were up to me, I'd be ok as long as you agree to help with Octaven, then the talon can be used against Stone, then returned."

Tyrrax says, "The storm grows in here, warm and warmer. No end to it tonight."

Speaking to Alosaka, Leafiara says, "Then you'd need a different tool than the obelisk, which exerts the same kind of force as explosions. It might well be destructible, but seemingly not in the way you've been implying tonight."

Tyrrax says, "Want not a circle, but a line."

Alosaka exclaims, "Won't know until we try!"

Speaking to Tyrrax, Craeguile says, "I came with doubts, that you were forerunners of the slavers, but you seem unaligned, and I'll set my worries aside, for now. But careful, these mages seem quick to catch you in their nets, and murkiness."

Tyrrax says, "Trust you to decide. Allies."

Tyrrax nods at Craeguile.

[General] Directed to Dumple, Mauss thinks, "Umm...naw. I just got done listening to folks that I thought had a good head on their shoulders... prove otherwise. I'm tired now."

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk asks, "Didn't Tyrrax promise the town coins to fill its coffers?"

Tikba mildly says, "The Landing is always glad to have another ally."

Alosaka says, "It's amazing. Fate has seen fit to grace us with a weapon of incredible destructive power, and in the face of terrible foes, we elect not to use it."

Speaking to Pukk, Leafiara says, "Yes, for establishing this settlement."

Lylia whispers something to Alosaka.

Speaking to Pukk, Vaemyr says, "And that we could employ the smiths and shipbuilders here."

Speaking offhandedly to Alosaka, Leafiara says, "Oh, I don't care if it's used at this point, but it's not going to destroy the Talon."

Speaking to Alosaka, Tikba says, "Even if the Talon survived the obelisk, Octaven might not. It is worth the attempt."

Lylia remarks, "We do not know if it could be amplified in some way."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Dendum says, "It is a silly language."

Speaking to Raelee, Craeguile says, "I'd ask you find your own clarity, before attempting him to bind himself to listless demands. They would seem willing to accede to your needs, at the very least."

Speaking to Leafiara, Alosaka says, "Then we can go collect the Talon from the ash-filled crater."

Speaking to Alosaka, Kiyna says, "It is not ours. Last it was utilized was suddenly and against the suggestion of many. It is a menace. I would sooner see it reduced to gravel."

Lylia says, "There are always ways to make a larger death-ray."

Murharzarm says, "What I wouldn't do with a larger death ray."

Speaking to Tikba, Thrassus says, "The main worry would be picking it out of the rubble quick enough before it starts to warp the surrounding region."

Xorus says, "The Talon could well absorb the ray, or perhaps amplify it and blast it outward."

Tyrrax says, "Ask your window chiefs, eyes behind glass. Speak as one, agree as one."

Citan deeply says, "Perhaps the old fishmans wharf to the east could be rebuilt... Could bring more commerce and such to this area."

Speaking to Craeguile, Raelee asks, "What clarity must I find, precisely?"

Speaking to Alosaka, Vaemyr says, "It is unlikely the Obelisk could be used against darkstone in it's current state as a weapon, with the manastorm as is, the manastorm would likely just absorb the energy. This si why we are presenting proposals for dealing with the manastorm first."

Speaking to Tyrrax, Pukk says, "So, about those silvers you promised the Landing...."

Tyrrax flips some silver coins at Pukk.

Speaking to Pukk, Kayse adds, "Or that question I asked him ten minutes ago."

Tyrrax says, "Will send more."

Pukk lets out a cheer!

Pukk says, "Okay. I'm good now."

Pukk beams!

Citan deeply says, "Beside seeing a spectural Fisherman here and there... We can over look it."

Alosaka says, "If you try hard enough, you can always find excuses not to act."

Tikba asks, "Kayse is right. If we are allies, why are you concealing your friend from us?"

Lylia murmurs, "Speaking of proposals, I really should write back to Enisius."

Speaking to Alosaka, Murharzarm says, "Yet rashness can often bring disaster all it's own."

Tyrrax says, "Days at sea, untired. Circle of chiefs, must now rest."

Speaking to Murharzarm, Alosaka says, "So can hesitation."

Speaking to Alosaka, Missoni agrees, "I do believe the plan to move the mana storm then use the obelisk is sensible."

Tyrrax pours himself a flask of pepper vodka.

Speaking to Raelee, Craeguile says, "What you'd have him do, wtih the Talon should he claim it. Unless you doubt his nature, his goal is clear, while the mages... less so."

Tyrrax says, "Beginnings."

Akaylas says, "An exhausting discussion, to say the least."

Tyrrax raises his pepper vodka in a toast!

Tyrrax says, "Allies."

Tyrrax raises his pepper vodka in a toast!

Kayse lightly murmurs, "Allies communicate when asked questions."

Pukk exclaims, "To silvers!"

Speaking to Lylia, Pukk says, "It's okay. I'm sure Gutstorm will be around tomorrow."

Tyrrax touches the rune-etched golden rings upon his fingers, they flash with a citrine-hued light and a portal rips into view behind him, which he steps back into and it snaps shut.
