The item has a limited number of charges, each consumed on activation of the disguise, though it can be made to have unlimited charges, unrelated to its tier status. The item has been stated by its creator to be rechargeable by any magic item recharging merchant. The duration of the charge is set by the item creator. Per the analyze, there is a small chance for the illusion to fail before the full duration has passed.

A Disguise Elixir item creates a physical feature illusion by way of a worn accessory item, which contains an elixir that is injected into the wearer via needles.

Tier 1

At this tier, the item will alter the race, culture, and/or gender of the character who has worn and activated it, as shown via LOOK. A disguise Elixir item at tier 1 can have each of these set to a specific value, or only one, at the discretion of the creator. A gender change will be reflected in the pronouns referenced by most verbs while the illusion is active.

Analyze

This is a Disguise Elixir item.  Depending on its setup, it will change the appearance of the race, culture, and/or gender of a character.  This is a temporary effect -- not a permanent change.

This item provides an aesthetic disguise without any mechanical benefits.  It is Tier 1 (of 2 currently).

The wristlet has 10 charges remaining.  The item will NOT crumble when it is used up, and recharging is available via some merchants.  Each charge on this wristlet nets the character roughly 8 hours and 0 minutes of disguise time until the disguise is eliminated (either through naturally running its course, removing the item prematurely via PULL).  There is a very rare chance during each charge cycle that the disguise will prematurely end on its own well before the full time has elapsed.  Also note that death automatically ousts the disguise from a character.

The wristlet is set up to place the following aesthetic attributes on a character.  Altering these settings may only be done on rare occasions by qualified persons; it is not a general merchant service.

Currently you are able to try to PUSH (to activate), PULL (to deactivate), LICK, and RUB the wristlet.

Aesthetic alterations to the item itself are acceptable -- they just must make sense for where the item is worn.  Note that needles come out of the underside of the item, so nothing in the alteration should prevent that from logically occuring.

As your senses come back into sharp focus, your bones seem to settle into their old, familiar form, your muscles tightening and the skin firming up around them; the illusion framing you has clearly vanished.

XXX's body, including any visible musculature, relaxes significantly. His skin then ripples violently, its appearance shifting, and sharp cracking sounds come from beneath his skin as his body transforms to alter his height and body.

The transformation seems to come to its conclusion as the cracking sounds fade away and XXX's visible skin firms up around her muscles and facial features. It isn't entirley clear if this is an illusion framing her or her true form.

PUSH To activate You push your ITEM against your neck, and tiny hollow needles stab down painfully into your skin, piercing your nerves and suffusing them with a noxious elixir. As if you have been drugged, all of your muscles relax significantly; you feel a bit like jelly.

Tier 2

This tier unlocks the item to allow for a full set of features (including age, height, build, and wings as applicable) customized. When the attribute illusion is active, the custom feature illusion can be shown or not, by way of a verb toggle. Likewise, the Tier 2 version can also toggle whether the wearer's tattoo line (which includes piercing jewelry) will display when the illusion is active. Verbs that reference physical features (hair, eyes, skin) will generally not be affected by the custom feature illusion. (For example, the ATTEND verb will reference the wearer's original features regardless of the illusion put in place by this item.)

Note that these are only illusory via LOOK -- your base features will remain the same and will still be utilized by most verbs. The illusory ones must follow regular feature alteration guidelines. Any merchant may alter these, but they MUST be appropriate for the race/culture/gender that the item is set to.

To see what, if any, illusory features are set up, ANALYZE the item again within 15 seconds.

The talisman has unlimited charges and will never run out. Each charge on this talisman nets the character roughly 8 hours and 0 minutes of disguise time until the disguise is eliminated (either through naturally running its course, removing the item prematurely via PULL). Additional Information

The item has a limited number of charges, each consumed on activation of the disguise, though it can be made to have unlimited charges, unrelated to its tier status. The item has been stated by its creator to be rechargeable by any magic item recharging merchant. The duration of the charge is set by the item creator. Per the analyze, there is a small chance for the illusion to fail before the full duration has passed.

The script was first introduced by GM Kaikala via The Messy Alchemist at Bloodriven Village during the August 2017 run of Duskruin Arena. The merchant Rashiva was in charge of the shop and performed unlocking services (plus full customization and unlimited charges) for a select few at a high cost.
