Revision as of 20:23, 22 April 2024
Spider mounts released at Rumor Woods as part of a new Year of the Clockewerke Devices in 2024. Spiders are summoned by a web-covered metal device, which is a summoning item that stores their information but is considered a separate item. There are three tiers: common, uncommon, and rare. All spider mounts share a similar setup with their appearance. AppearancePowered by intricate clockwork mechanisms covered by a carapace of mechanical> <steel> plates, the spider is comprised of gears, levers, and cogs carefully crafted to move the arachnid about on eight articulated legs. A steam gauge is mounted beneath the hollow mechanical abdomen amidst a series of discreetly placed release valves with steel fittings. At the rear, spigot-tipped spinnerets produce silky, gossamer threads for web-making. Mechanical vice-like jaws open to reveal curved fangs, while two rows of orbicular black onyx eyes glitter atop a smooth cephalothorax. CommonCommon mounts are the least expensive option when considering purchase. They are limited in alteration options that may be allowed through the Ostler. Available Types
