The Paladin calls upon the divine power of their patron to decimate their foe. When successfully cast, the target is surrounded by a damaging sacred force and will be forced to kneel. The spell also forces the target into roundtime.

The spell can be EVOKEd to significantly boost damage, but this version will not make the target kneel or apply roundtime.

Training in Spiritual Mana Control will increase lethality.

Messaging

Messaging is based on the paladin's patron deity selected with the CONVERT verb. Flavor messages can be seen at Deity Messaging.

Default messaging for an unaligned paladin:

Caster view:
    A pillar of grey luminescence manifests around (target).
    Waves of sacred energy tear through (target)'s body!

Target view:
    (Paladin)'s eyes glow with silvery grey light, and then everything around you shimmers to match the argentine color.
