Grand Ball

What would a bloody gore-filled festival be if without scrubbing down and dressing up when it's all over? Ball will be held from 9 pm eastern to 11 pm eastern on Sunday in Prime. (Time for Plat's is still pending)

Coliseum

A coliseum has been built in the festival grounds with four practice arenas and one main arena. In the arenas you can fight against each other. A maximum of two people can be in a specific arena at any one time. No taking familiars, animal companions, demons, etc in with you. You have to fight on your own. If someone is already in an arena when you try to enter, you'll be told who is there. Each arena has a viewing room, so people can watch the fights and yell or heckle. If you die in the arena, medics are on-hand to move you to the infirmary and get you cleaned up; let it be noted that you will not lose deeds if you die. You will also be charged a small fee for being tended to by the medical staff. The only compensation you get for killing each other is bragging rights. Any fighting done in the arenas will be considered consensual.

Arena Guidelines - When you go through the portal into the arena, ALL outside spells are stripped, and then for native casters:

  • Retribution effect (only) of Cloak of Shadows (712) is stripped
  • Arcane Barrier (1720), Elemental Targeting (425), and Rapid Fire (515) are stripped

Inside the arena itself:

  • Most spells over level 10 are now allowed
  • Implosion (720), Elemental Targeting (425), Censure (316), Judgment (1630), Nature's Fury (635), Sleep (501), Flaming Aura (1706), Spirit Servant (240) are all blocked
  • Hiding is allowed
  • No demons, animal companions, or Singing Sword Song (1025)
  • No wands or embeds
  • No scrolls

Several steel ribs span the width of the wagon, a beige canvas stretched between them to protect the interior from the elements. Broken cogs and sprockets litter the gouged wooden floor, and a short wooden stand sits just inside the triangular flap. A low bench juts out from the front wall and is strewn with patched cushions. Several crates are piled against the walls, bits of straw poking out from between the misaligned slats. A straw pallet lies on the floor, the area surrounding it cleared of the sprockets and cogs that are scattered about the small space. A small mobile, consisting of gears suspended from a series of wires, hangs above a squat steel door and idly twists with the slightest of movements.

Toy Soldiers

[Toy Soldiers, Front Room]
Teak walls burnished to a lustrous golden finish rise to a peaked ceiling made of the same to enclose this spacious area. Underfoot, plush crimson carpeting spans wall to wall and front to back, and a series of gold-leafed shelves can be found upon the walls between golden sconces shaped like rearing wyverns. An archway flanked by gilded brocade curtains leads further into the wagon.

Gold-framed glass cases sit on either wall, their lids propped open by hinged limbs locked into place. At the rear of this space is a carved teak door with an elegantly filigreed handle.

A Violet Silk Tent

[A Violet Silk Tent]
Shed from strings of translucent white paper lanterns dangling from the tent's supports, pale white light bathes the area, giving everything it touches a faint silvery sheen. Swathes of royal purple satin hang scalloped along each of the violet walls, pinned at their apex by clusters of dark and glossy greenery. Along one side of the space is a tiered glass display, while across the way sits a velvet-topped jewelry table, and a carpeted runner spans the width between.

Blood Ash XXX has an acerbic shroud drawn close about her, smoked with the incense of dry olibanum and vetiver, undercut by an earthy wisp of black moss. Deeper still are strains of opoponax, which lend a subtle and indefinable sweetness, laced with the metallic warmth of spilled blood.
Deep Weald Shadow XXX has a wildwood cloak draped about her, a suffusion of birch and dogwood, cypress and pine, caught up in a garland of forest wildflowers. Distinct notes of columbine, blue violet, and pixie moss churn beneath it all, damp and fresh, and cut at the finish by a shard of bloodroot.
Sugar Plum XXX has the sweet-tart scent of red plums laced with traces of orange zest wafting about her. Hints of cloudberry and vanilla subtly mellow the sharper notes and dwindle to a soft, sugared musk sillage.
Winter Solstice XXX has a complex, but mellow redolence clinging to her skin and hair. Top notes of smoked black tea blended with pomegranate and black currant are brought to heart by an infusion of sweet blood orange. The faintest hint of pink peppercorn lingers in the background.
First Snow XXX has a light, clean fragrance teasing the air around her, with notes of fresh spring water and juniper berry foremost. Underlying is a base of green vetiver.
Autumn Moon XXX has a warm, multi-layered scent in the air about her, redolent with citrus notes of sweet navel oranges set in contrast to poignant, earthy currents of amber. Dark vanilla binds the fragrance together for a smooth finish.
Hunter's Way XXX has a robust redolence about her, steeped with the sharp, dry sweetness of white cedar and hints of dark chocolate. As barely perceptible touches, clove and cinnamon bring a subdued warmth to the scent's sillage.
Twilight Repose XXX has stygian shreds of violet essence swirling in the air about her, punctuated by niveous strains of vanilla and freesia. Gentle zephyrs of bergamot and wood ash curl just beneath the surface, creating a subtle ground for the dusky scent.
