Gaunt spectral servant
The spectral servant silently floats several inches above the ground. His eyes gaze downward submissively as his gaunt form, dressed in the ragged remains of livery, waivers in and out of visibility. Scabs and open sores cover his features, while patches of transparent hair fall from his skull, vanishing into the air at his feet.
While gaunt spectral servants are non-corporeal, they can be stunned rather easily with either standard attacks, maneuvers, or spells (though they are still immune to crits). Due to their use of Cloak of Shadows (712), this can either help or hinder you in battle, depending on the circumstances.
Note that they cast Curse (715) including Itch. This can cause players to drop any items in their hands abruptly and repeatedly! If they can ward you, be wary hunting with anything too precious to you.
A gaunt spectral servant assumes a sitting position, floating above the ground, and says quietly to himself, "What we did was right. The Master went too far, making a mockery of the Mother's charges, of love itself. Even when he disappeared at times, we knew where he was, and waited for him there, in the bedroom; waited to do what was right..." The servant shakes his head and rises to his feet with a sad, but resolved expression on his face.
A gaunt spectral servant gazes at the ground and quietly says, "The Lord said that this keep was built on something older, something from days far gone."
A gaunt spectral servant removes a bunch of crimson salt crystals from inside the folds of her ragged robes. A gaunt spectral servant carefully spreads her crimson salt crystals on your body. A gaunt spectral servant whispers haunting arcane words that echo eerily. A gaunt spectral servant weakly points at you. A gaunt spectral servant floats down and examines your body carefully while making a judgemental "Hmm..." sound before shaking her head defeatedly. A gaunt spectral servant whispers silently, "You have been spared a fate worse than death, even if you do not know it."
