Walking upright, the body covered with mottled grey fur and his long arms conclude in large, clawed hands with semi-opposable thumbs. The shan wizard's dog-like visage is fierce, with slavering jaws and eyes that glow like something out of a bad dream.
Hunting strategies

A shan wizard paces restlessly, a glint of intelligence in his eyes. A shan wizard's snout wrinkles as she bares hideously long teeth and a growl of malice rumbles in her throat. A shan wizard bares her impressive canines at a shan warrior, conversing in phrases that are a strange combination of growls, barks and teeth-clapping.
