Comprised of solid blocks of granite, the immense stone sentinel stands and moves very stiffly. Each portion of its anatomy is chiseled in rectangular pieces with sharp right angles. It is not apparent how this animated construct moves, or how it even stays together, but somehow it does both effectively. The attacks of a stone sentinel carry the weight of tons of rock behind them. Being in the path of one is not an experience to be recommended.
Hunting strategies
Make sure to have a way to fight undead in sentinel area. The area has a lot of banshee as well as sentinels.
Finish off banshees quickly unless you can resist their screams...the bind effect makes sentinels much more dangerous.
If possible, cut off a sentinel leg then aim for body. Sentinels do not die from critical blows so you have to do a lot of damage.
Other information
Stone Sentinels are stun proof and immune to many death criticals.
Skin is equivalent to ASG 20 (full plate).
They are also unable to be hit by open handed UAC attack need to have a UAC brawling weapon in hand to hit with UAC attacks.
You reach out to attack the stone sentinel. The area around that part of the stone sentinel's skin glows an intense blue, freezing your hand.
Roundtime: 8 sec.
Able to heal wounds using circles.
A stone sentinel is enveloped by an intense shimmering circle and is completely healed.
Stone Sentinels are able to make the circles explode.
You are hit by the explosion.
... 25 points of damage!
Nasty shock to right hand stiffens fingers. Nice and painful.
You are stunned for 2 rounds!
An example of a stone sentinel's stone-spitting maneuver attack:
You are hit by a stone.
... 5 points of damage!
Blow grazes your left arm lightly.
You are hit by a stone.
... 10 points of damage!
Light strike to your chest.
You are hit by a stone.
... 5 points of damage!
Strike glances off your chest.
You narrowly miss being hit by a stone.

Strong blow to your right arm breaks it!

Behind the Scenes
The original lore for the sentinels in the I.C.E. Age is that they were one of the malevolent artificial constructs fashioned by the Empress Kadaena. Following the cataclysm of the First Era of the Shadow World history, they fell into disuse as merely dormant statues. They would later be adapted as sentries for the keeps and dark castles of evil powers. Other examples of such constructs include the Gogor, Shards, and Kaeden. While the sentinels in the game appear almost as simple as golems, they have an array of magical properties making them considerably more complex. It might be the case that Estrion was able to construct these himself rather than acquire them, thus explaining their crude appearance, as the pedestal void was apparently created by him but is a Lord of Essaence style portal. In itself it is an interesting point to note, with respect to other game specific lore, that the ritual for opening a temporary unholy gate to Charon (Lornon) apparently involves Lord of Essaence gate magic.
