Dampness clings to the cracked stone walls of this lopsided hut, making the enclosed space perpetually moist and musty. Guttering candles, their flames a sullen blue, are scattered around a central stone altar and the prayer rug laid out in front of it, the various items arrayed on top of them subtly reflecting the eerie light. Wind constantly seeps into the area, sending the ragged animal hide over the door fluttering every so often. You also see a dark opening.

The weapons and shields in this room, as well as the one to the north, contain the trapped spirit of an animal. Be warned - they are wild and untamed, often lashing out in anger at those they do not know. Tame them and partner with them, however, to soothe the wild spirit within. Attack with them and their bestial power will be unleashed on your enemies in the form of Animalistic Fury flares, the strength of them increasing as the spirit's trust in you grows. Visit the shrine through the opening to unlock their further potential. In the shop next door, you will find armors to pair with these items.

Little light filters into this tiny alcove, making the only illumination the various blue-flamed candles set into various nooks along the uneven walls. There is not much room for anything besides a squat stone shrine, which stretches across the entire space. Abandoned offerings of feathers and animal bones litter the floor, creating a narrow pathway of treacherous footing. The overwhelming scent of mold, mixed with a faint aroma of incense, permeates the damp air.

Unlock the further potential of the spirit inside your weapon or shield. * Animalistic Fury flares A stampede of miniature animal spirits charges your enemies, dealing Grapple damage. Using the provided certificates raises the ceiling of potential flare power you can achieve. * Revenge flares Unlock a chance to unleash Animalistic Fury flares on a successful parry (melee or runestaves), evade (unarmed or ranged), or block (shield). NOTE: You must be in forward or greater stance, as well as be actively participating in combat recently to properly enrage the spirit to retaliate. * Wild Backlash When unlocked, this adds a debuff to Animalistic Fury flares that will affect your target's physical and magical defenses. The more powerful your flares are, the better this debuff will be. * Savage Power Draw upon the bestial power of your spirit, infusing its strength into your own body for a short time and increasing your attack strength (both physical and magical), as well as your critical padding. Each parchment unlock improves the amount of the bonus given. * Fluff Actions and Spirit Change Unlock the tricks your spirit can do, or the tricks you can do with your weapon/shield, with the provided papyrus. As well, you can change the type of animal in your weapon/shield with the provided slip (TURN to find the one you like), which will morph the spirit within. * Damage Type Change (Common/Uncommon) If you are unhappy with the default Grapple damage of Animalistic Fury flares, you can teach your spirit to use a different damage type with the provided vouchers. Be sure to READ them to find the right one for the damage you are hoping for.

The air in this shop is heavy with the scent of leather, and the floor is covered in a variety of odd-colored stains. The walls are made of vertical wooden slats, each one seemingly more warped and pockmarked than the last, with various lit torches interspersed around the space. A wide barrel stands off to one side, and a greasy sign is nailed to the wall just inside the entrance.

The armor on the rack is Karma Armor. It gives you a chance to completely absorb an incoming attack, and stores some of the absorbed damage for use later. Crimson-threaded seams are for Fire. Cobalt blue-threaded for Cold. Brilliant yellow for Electricity. Deep Brown for Vibration. Small spikes along the seams are for Pierce damage. Rounded stones are for Crush, and Sharp blades are for slash. Waivers are in the barrel, and can be used to unlock Karma Armor. Waivers edged with a color are meant to match with the thread on the armor, and will unlock that damage type on an existing set of armor that does not already have that type available. Waivers edged with spikes, stones, or blades will unlock those damage types in the same fashion. Bronze waivers will increase the percentage chance to absorb the current damage type. Silver waivers will increase the percentage of damage that is absorbed on a successful absorption. Gold waivers will increase the maximum amount of damage that can be stored. Iron waivers will increase the number of times per day that your armor can DISCHARGE. This waiver does NOT take into account the current damage type... A bookish elven clerk works tirelessly behind a dark maple counter, pulling sheafs of paper and covers from a cloth-lined chest. Occasionally, bits of torn paper float lazily through the air and land on the floor.

Some obscure details about my wares: Be aware when writing that the spoken and written word are closely linked. You must have a quill to write, but it need not be a quill purchased here. Inkpots are not necessary, as the pages have a magical element to them. You may erase what you've written by CLEANing the page. You may TEAR the page to *permanently* remove it from the book. PUSH, TURN, and FLIP will allow you to work with the individual pages.

I, Qaril, can create a custom journal for you. You need only to select a cover and a sheaf of pages from the bookcase. (Each completed volume will have fifty pages.) I can make five types of books (book, notebook, journal, volume, and folio), so be sure to ASK me about the one you are most interested in. Please note that only I can bind these papers into a cover. If you buy some, make sure I fix it up for you. If you leave Bloodriven Village before I've worked with them, they will be useless.
