The Merchant's Emporium
The Merchant's Emporium is a building that houses a collection of shops in Wehnimer's Landing. Each of these shops host a different item of furniture to outfit a character's Premium home. The Merchant's Emporium is located on Dragonsclaw Road two rooms north of Banker's Square. It appears in the room as a large wooden building with a wooden sign on it.

Customers wander through this room, headed into and out of the various shops. Lazing against a nearby wall, a merchant takes a break from the bustle of his work. You also see a haon door, a thanot door, a maoral door, a plain wood door and a glaes door.

Barbley's Beds
Barbley's Beds is located through the haon door just inside the entrance to the Merchant's Emporium.

Multitudes of beds in a huge variety of styles and finishes lie stacked haphazardly around the shop, some tilting precariously. Small pathways wind between the items, giving customers just enough room to view the floor samples. At one end of the showroom, a collection of stately four-poster beds enjoys a more spacious display area and the benefit of subtle lighting. You also see a stack of beds, a haon door, a rickety wooden counter with a hastily written sign on it and the merchant Barbley.

The walls and floor of this salesroom are covered with a mismatched patchwork of polished woods in a variety of finishes and hues. Each gleaming piece of wood fits precisely against its neighbor, an impressive demonstration of the skill of the craftsman who decorated the shop. You also see a number of interlocking wall samples, a plain tanik table with a wooden sign on it, a thanot door and the merchant Mreeth.

Elegant candelabra laden with fat beeswax candles softly illuminate this charming shop and the pleasant, smiling features of its proprietor. A highly-polished floor of rich-hued maoral complements and enhances Rhynnde's impressive collection of thick woolen rugs and elegant mats, their deep colors and varied textures inviting customers to linger deliciously over the extensive selection. You also see a number of miscellaneous floor coverings, several piles of carpets and rugs, a maoral door, a carved maoral counter with a freshly cut bowl of roses on it and Rhynnde.

Various wall hangings flutter from the rafters, wafting in the tiny breeze created by shoppers moving beneath. Displayed prominently on the rear wall, a large hanging depicting the symbol of Koar glows beneath a softly focused light. The scent of incense drifts gently in the air. You also see a variety of Arkati tapestries and the merchant Lianedra.

Firenna's Fireplaces is located one room east once you pass through the maoral door just inside the entrance to the Merchant's Emporium.

The walls and much of the floorspace in Firenna's sizeable showroom are lined with hearths and stoves of every imaginable variety. Ranging from the simplest stone firepit to the most ornate and elaborate marble fireplace, there is something in her catalog to suit every taste and budget. You also see several types of stoves, a number of displayed fireplaces, a polished marble counter with an engraved silver sign on it and the merchant Firenna.

Drumble's dimly lit shop is piled to the rafters with a tangle of tables. From each tottering pile protrudes a strange combination of plain and polished and white-painted table legs, the item to which they belong quite indiscernible without close inspection. Drumble himself leans casually against one particularly diverse stack, grumbling quietly to himself every time a customer requests a deeply-buried item. You also see a disorganized pile of tables and Drumble.

The sweet, dry fragrance of freshly sanded wood permeates the air in this spacious shop, combining comfortably with the smell of deep orange polishing oil. Spread across the floor and proudly propped on sample racks around the walls, Flaygeyl's diverse selection of wooden floorboards await the purchaser's home decorating whimsy. You also see a number of flooring samples, a plain wood door, a low wooden counter and the merchant Flaygeyl.

The pale, varnished wooden floors and whitewashed walls of Sprytea's store are designed to show off her merchandise to best advantage. Glinting window displays hang from white oak beams high in the lofty ceiling, lending the sophisticated air of an art gallery to the cool, quiet shop. Only the occasional murmured transaction or footstep on floorboard breaks the soft silence. You also see a number of assorted windows, a glaes door, a polished glaesine-topped counter with an elegantly engraved sign on it and Sprytea.
