Raving lunatics are physical combatants, knowing no magic and having only a small natural reserve of mana. They attack exceptionally quickly with their critical-weighted daggers which they will also throw at random intervals. They can be exceedingly dangerous with either feras or drake weapons, or if an adventurer has been put into a bad position by another creature.
Despite having significant offensive prowess lunatics are generally weak defensively. They carry no shields, wear no armor, and can be stunned. They are not able to naturally break status effects and are easily killed by a variety of means.

Raving lunatics are extraplanar beings.
Raving lunatics can sometimes split themselves in two:
A raving lunatic begins to shiver and shake violently! The raving lunatic flails to the left and the right, shuddering in gleeful agony! The raving lunatic looks queasy and indistinct and then grabs at his skull and begins to pull. Slowly, he splits into two separate lunatics, each wearing a distinct look of horrifically insane pleasure. When the split is complete, the two raving lunatics stand there momentarily with a glazed look in their eyes, a gross mixture of drool and froth running down their chins.
When dead they play with your corpse, but do not add damage:
A raving lunatic reaches down and grabs your corpse, dragging your limp form up to its feet. In a mocking, macabre dance, the lunatic drags your lifeless body around in a circle, cackling madly as he prances. Suddenly, the raving lunatic stops and releases your corpse, allowing you to collapse in an awkward heap, which only adds to the lunatic's mad laughter!
