A hunch-backed dogmatist's frail frame has seen many years of toil and abuse. Evidence of such hardship appears in the stooped posture of the dogmatist. A defined hump protrudes from behind the dogmatist's head, easily discerned through layers of clothing and leather armor. The hunch-backed dogmatist's eyes glance frequently from side-to-side, as if constantly waiting for something to appear.[1]
Hunting strategies
One method of guaranteeing that a dogmatist will not automatically resurrect themselves is to completely vaporize it (a la Implosion (720)). However, if it is merely instantly killed by the spell, and not completely vaporized, it can still resurrect.
Dogmatists tend to spawn with a spell prepared, and will prepare spells even when no immediate target is in the room. It is also possible for a dogmatist to "prepare" a spell when they are automatically resurrected after death, though no outward sign of this is shown. They also have a high tendency towards casting Spirit Dispel (119).
Other information
Dogmatists possess a rarely used maneuver which allows them to gaze at an opponent and inflict varying levels of disability. These include, but are not limited to, brief roundtime, brief roundtime which inflicts a Slow effect, moderate roundtime and a forced kneel, significant roundtime and a forced prone, and completely disabling the target.
Dogmatists are able to resurrect any of the other denizens of Temple Wyneb, including other dogmatists, even while stunned. They also possess the possibility of being resurrected automatically by their deity upon dying, sometimes multiple times.
Additionally, if a dogmatist encounters the dead body of an adventurer, they may perform a ritual which removes the eyes from the body and converts them into a strong creature called a farlook.
