The lesser shade bears the outline of a man and looks solid, but you can see faint images of the background through it.[1]
Hunting strategies
Lesser Shades are very vulnerable to bolt spells. The shades in the catacombs drop valuable augmented breastplates, making them especially good early prey for young spellcasters. However, due to their heavy armor, lighter weapons may have difficulty inflicting heavy damage.
