The lesser minotaur is an ugly, brutish looking beast. Taller than most average men, the minotaur has a bull-like appearance while his muscular body is humanoid with thick arms and broad shoulders. The lesser minotaur feet end in hooves that rattle the ground with every step. Despite his barbaric features, a great intelligence is reflected in the depths of his eyes and mannerisms.[1]
Hunting strategies
Lesser minotaurs have a strong resistance to combat maneuvers, similar to krag dwellers. They can use the mstrike ability for three simultaneous swings of their greataxes. They have the ability to release an AS boosting battle cry similar to a troll king frothing or shan warrior yipping. Like other minotaurs they have a deadly charge maneuver, however they use it infrequently.
A lesser minotaur belts out a guttural battle cry! A lesser minotaur swings a curved silvery white greataxe at you!
AS: +446 vs DS: +499 with AvD: +38 + d100 roll: +93 = +78 A clean miss.
Lesser minotaurs can be stunned normally. As their magical warding is relatively poor, they are easy prey to spells such as Blind (311) and Mind Jolt (706).
The lesser minotaurs outside the Labyrinth use two handed weapons, so anyway way to remove a limb, such as Limb Disruption (708) or ambushing, will disable them. However, the minotaurs inside the Labyrinth carry shields and use Shield Charge, which can be quite deadly.
Other information
Lesser minotaur were formerly level 12. In February 2008 they experienced an upward shift to their current level and were moved to their current location. For more information on the updates, please see the following saved posts:
