Dull, mottled, grey skin covers the dhu goleras's stubby, wrinkled torso. The arms appear twice as long as they should be, ending in long, twig-like fingers. The legs are the opposite. Short and misshapen, they have three knees each, giving the dhu goleras a peculiar, hobbling gait, yet with incredible quickness. Huge, lidless, moon-shaped eyes with white irises bulge from a bony cranium atop a long, thin, rubbery neck. Green ichor drips from around the eyes, running down the sunken cheeks. The dhu goleras extends his long white tongue and licks off what ichor he can reach, consuming it with relish.

Hunting strategies

Dhu Goleras are melee capable pures which spend about half of their time using CS based spiritual/sorcerer spells and the other half using average melee attacks. They cast frequently, and many of their spells, such as Dark Catalyst and the itchy Curse can be extremely dangerous even on minor endrolls. With this in mind, preventing casting through the use of Silence, Corrupt Essence, Stun, or disabling maneuvers is a must. They have a very wide array of spells, so expect anything if they manage to cast a spell. They have no maneuvers to speak of other than spells such as Quake (709) and Energy Maelstrom (710). Their CS is fairly high, so even against a like leveled, fully spelled up pure, they may have a small warding margin. They do not spawn with a prepared spell, nor do they prepare spells while wandering or spell themselves up. However, their TD is relatively high compared to the other denizens of the Labyrinth. If their casting can be prevented, they offer little risk on their own.

Despite the danger of their spells and their higher level, they have a good bit less health than either Moulis or Shrickhen. They are not particularly hostile towards each other, but the Moulis' Cone of Elements (518) and the Shrickhen's Major Elemental Wave (435) will hit and damage them. Shrickhen may also cast beneficial spells such as Elemental Defense III (414) on them while wandering the Labyrinth, so expect occasional Dhu Goleras to possess a higher DS and TD than normal. If left with a prepared spell, they may also cast an open maelstrom, which can be very dangerous should an unaware hunter wander into a room with one.
