Herb
Herb is the common term for edible or potable medicines in Elanthia derived from natural plant life.
Many herbs can be found in various outdoor locations when using the FORAGE verb. All herbs that are not potions or tinctures can be bundled into 50 doses. Potions and tinctures are limited to 7 doses and are combined using the POUR verb.
Roundtime
Eating or drinking an herb incurs some roundtime, which can be reduced by training in First Aid at a rate of -1 second per 20 skill bonus, down to a minimum of 3 seconds.
- HP or rank 1 wounds: 5 seconds
- rank 2 wounds: 10 seconds
- rank 3 wounds, rank 1 scars: 15 seconds
- rank 2 scars: 25 seconds
- rank 3 scars: 30 seconds
Variants of yabathilium fruit do not incur any roundtime.
Sigil of Mending temporarily reduces roundtime to 3 seconds.

These are some of the common herbs found in Elanthia. Different herbs found in various geographical regions may have the same healing effect.
Health restoration
- acantha leaf - Heals 10 health points.
- yabathilium fruit - Heals 30-60 health points.
- Similar to sassafras tea, Bloody Krolvin ale, green mushroom potion, cothinar flower
Limb (arms, legs, hands)
- ambrominas leaf - Heals minor limb wounds.
- ephlox moss - Heals major limb wounds.
- cactacae spine - Heals minor limb scars.
- Similar to elk fat gel, manroot tea, Bearded Ladies' ale, spotted toadstool ale
- calamia fruit - Heals major limb scars.
- Similar to walrus blubber, manroot potion, Mad Mutt Frothy ale, stalactite brew
- sovyn clove - Regenerates missing limb.
Nervous system
- wolifrew lichen - Heals minor nervous system wounds.
- Similar to Leaftoe's lichen tart, red lichen tea, Orc's Head ale, thick foggy ale
- bolmara potion - Heals major nervous system wounds.
- Foraged as bolmara lichen
- Similar to snowflake elixir, red lichen potion, Kenar's Dropjaw ale, glowing mold tea
- torban leaf - Heals minor nervous system scars.
- woth flower - Heals major nervous system scars.
Head and neck
- rose-marrow potion - Heals minor head and neck wounds.
- Foraged as rose-marrow root
- Similar to elk horn potion, feverfew tea, Semak's Smooth ale, rusty red ale
- aloeas stem - Heals major head and neck wounds.
- Similar to ram's bladder, feverfew potion, Dark Swampwater ale, sticky lichen tea, a round-cut pale red spinel
- haphip root - Heals minor head or neck scars.
- Similar to sparrowhawk pie, pennyroyal tea, Agrak's Amber ale, dull crimson ale
- brostheras potion - Heals major head and neck scars.
- Foraged as brostheras grass
- Similar to polar bear fat soup, pennyroyal potion, Reaper's Red ale, stone soot brew
Eye and torso (back, abdomen, chest)
- basal moss - Heals minor organ wounds.
- Similar to tundra grass, gingko nut tea, Mama Dwarf's ale, chunky black ale
- pothinir grass - Heals major organ wounds.
- Similar to musk ox tart, gingko nut potion, Aged Schooner ale, roasted ratweed tea, a copper-hued sliver of sunstone
- talneo potion - Heals minor organ scars.
- Foraged as talneo root
- Similar to rock lizard potion, wyrmwood tea, Gert's Homemade ale, brown weedroot ale
- wingstem potion - Heals major organ scars.
- Foraged as wingstem root
- Similar to earthworm potion, wyrmwood potion, Wort's Winter ale, dirty crevice brew
- bur-clover potion - Regenerates missing eye.
- Foraged as bur-clover root
- Similar to starfish potion, daggit root potion, Volcano Vision ale, dirty rat fur potion

*The herbs completely restore the missing body part, leaving no scar behind. The empath spells will instead heal a missing eye or limb down to a rank 2 eye or limb scar. Spells to completely heal a missing eye or limb in one cast used to be available to empaths as 819 and 820 respectively.
