A luminous spectre utters a phrase of arcane magic.

Other information

Luminous spectres do not spawn but are rather only summoned by greater moor wights in a similar manner to greater fetid corpses; however, the wights will only summon spectres in areas where the terrain does not allow them to summon corpses (which must be muddy wetlands). This fact makes the spectres quite uncommon. They are also significantly lower in level than greater moor wights, so typically one deals with any surrounding creatures first.

A greater moor wight raises one decaying arm in a series of mystical gestures, chanting an almost inaudible stream of prayers.
A cold mist seeps up out of the ground, slowly dissipating to reveal a luminous spectre.

Because they do not spawn normally, the Adventurer's Guild never assigns bounties related to them, nor can they be hunted easily on purpose.

They also despawn after awhile:

A luminous spectre vanishes in a swirling mist.

Luminous spectres will decay very quickly when killed (approximately upon their next turn), making it tricky to obtain loot if you are under hard roundtime (i.e. from swinging a melee weapon). This may make hunting luminous spectres more suitable for spellcasters, who primarily undergo Cast roundtime during battle.
