March of the bugs has continued beyond our initial launch... Here are some things you may have missed.

  • Woodchopper Box - A bug when creating foraged bark that turned into a rod when imbued by a ranger has been fixed. Go forth and imbue all the things.
  • More Somnis Fixes
Greater somnis will now trigger for PSM skills when the attacker is holding/is wearing the applicable weapon/shield/armor.
Greater somnis now works against player targets.,
When greater somnis successfully triggers a pre-attack sleep flare on a cast or PSM attack, it will no longer immediately wake up the target with the cast or PSM attack that immediately follows.,
Greater somnis should no longer provide conflicting messaging when it puts certain otherwise-sleep-resistant undead to sleep. In more concrete terms, you shouldn't see any version of "X stays awake!" at the same time as you see "X falls asleep!" This change does not impact what is and isn't affected by somnis.
That's all the work I have planned for somnis right now, but please do post at ⁠More somnis fixes if something else looks broken with somnis. I'll keep an eye on that thread for at least the next few days.
  • Duskruin Arena Kill Counter - Duskruin Arena will now award a kill within EVENT STATS DUSKRUIN when your foe runs away for good or leaves no corpse (as with certain outcomes of wither, evil eye, and implosion).
  • Rune Tattoos (x/day tattoos) now indicate what they are in TATTOO INVENTORY and INVENTORY TATTOO.
  • Rune Tattoos can now be ANALYZE'd to indicate what they are and show charges.
  • Market Stalls will now state that lightening notes cannot be used on them (Sorry!).
  • Ships-in-a-bottle (Premium festival) now handle singular vs. plural masts/sails better in their LOOK descriptions.
  • Mage Gauntlet's now handle attunement better.
  • Mage Gauntlet's CLENCH ability is now much more consistent in absorbing damage and way less annoying for GMs.
  • Spell Books: You may now PONDER to a specific slot (ponder 3 book).
  • An intermittent bug with the Sulliver's Travels tutorial has been squashed. In rare instances if you were a bit too eager on certain steps and repeated the command before Sulliver was ready, you could accidentally skip a step and end up stalling the tutorial progress depending on which step was skipped. This should no longer happen, though if you are currently stuck I will need to fix you myself. I am already aware of one player this affected, though if you are affected please feel fre to ASSIST or mention your character name in the tutorial forum thread so I can keep an eye out for you.
  • Basketifiers that are unlocked to tier 5 no properly display the amount of food they can hold.
  • Trimmers for mount-worn weaving items have had their double noun issue in the long resolved (this was particularly rough with ankle-cuff for some reason.)
  • Bee's Knees Vials now have a default for any flower not in the system.
  • Sylinar's Spire is no longer having an identity crisis.
  • Loft Node Vouchers will no longer display room descriptions
  • One of the loft rooms had an extra "a" in its display, this is resolved.
  • Discovery - I keep getting bugs on this that I'm not able to replicate. Please remember when sending a bug report to BUG the item. This will help me do some pinpoint navigation. That being said, I cleaned up the analyze a bit in hopes that it will help clarify some points with the item. In particular, you can now see the current charges/max charges, and there is a line that tells you how many charges your current tier will take. I hope this helps.,
  • BEG HELP - this no longer as double punctuation
  • KF Citizen NPC - his PnC now has STATUS
  • Mount Grooming Tools - Update in analyze and better default messaging for when it won't work with a certain mount type.
  • Papermaker - a few articles ended up missing the "d" when the re-alphabetizing took place. That has been returned.
  • Tourney Containers - 3rd person messaging for bee open is fixed to read correctly.
  • Tourney Containers - Open messaging had a small hiccup, this is resolved.
  • Private Property - Inator Permanency - the nail polish case has had a resolution put into place to specifically target by adjective or other or 2nd, etc. If you find other permanent -inators are having an issue where you can't target the additional one in a space, please bug and I will look into it.
  • Chatelaine - Those of you that had your maximum item allowance changed should now see it properly displayed in the chatelaines analyze.
  • Beetle saddles - The issue of not being able to use the saddle while on the beetle is resolved.
  • Maid of Honor Corsets - some designs were causing the TAP for the adjective to be weird. This is resolved, though old designs with the issue will linger until you create a new design.
  • Flower Power Flower Press flowers and Wavedancer Journal Torn Pages - These will no longer lead with the noun of the foraged item.
  • Ursine Paddock - the bear mounts are correctly priced now.
  • Spidersilk Apothecary - Will now recognize glaes as metal.
  • Scented Clothing - bug causes perfume to immediately fall off has been resolved.
  • Jousting Titles - These should correctly be reflected who you jousted for.
  • Jousting - I had a talk with the guys giving out the equipment. I "think" they got the message.
  • Papermaker - Ponder now reflects the previously mentioned changes and some of the missing ones were returned.
  • There was a bug causing the roller rod in Honeyed Gears to not have its GLANCE function (I uh, forgot to make it live), this is fixed. Also, I posted an updated listing for the rod on the Candy Press Wiki page.
  • Spidersilk Apothecary - Will now recognize alloys as metal.
  • Agresh and Cave Bear Features have now been recorded on the available features page on the wiki.
  • The Creamy White Hibiscus on Mist Harbor is no longer having an identity crisis.
  • Basketifier - The Voucher no longer says it is working on itself.
  • Basketifier - GAZE now properly displays items that don't have long descriptions.
  • Basketifier - GAZE has been modified for a cleaner look.
  • PCALC's help message now accurately displays that the correct usage is PCALC {service} {item} rather than just PCALC {service}, among a few other minor clarifications.
  • Brief hiccup with specimen boards is resolved.
  • Tasty Hands aprons are now considered fluff
  • [Vornavis, West Road] - Shouldn't cause a dismount anymore.
  • Teras Isle Honeybee typo is resolved
  • Ta'Illistim and Ta'Nalfein bees are catchable now
  • The gloves in Knight's Way require a noun of gauntlet to work. Those in the shop have been fixed. If you purchased a pair, please assist for the fix.
  • Metal items that are removed from the Basketifier will not reflect their metal status.
  • Whispering utensils and plates and saucers to your Basketifier when you have some in your [container] will no longer yell at you to whisper.,
  • Grooming Tools had various oddities resolved where roltons/goats/sheep were concerned.,
  • Saddle bags should no longer tell you to assist when you TURN them.,
  • Some of the new foraged items were causing exist numbers to show up, this is resolved.
  • Rumor Woods - Gazebo - PnC now works with the stepping stones when you try to exit the Gazebo.
  • Bouquet Paper
LOOK for when someone is holding it has been adjusted. It will no longer go by the VIEWER's demeanor.
LOOKing at the bouquet will no longer issue a carriage return and a dangling period.
Hug will no longer have a weird space before paper. Nor will LOOK.
Glance - A variety of display issues were resolved. Some of the language was cleaned up.
TOUCH - There was a case where if you had perfume in the mechanism and tried to match butcher paper it would return nothing. This has been resolved.
Natural Mailing Paper was not utilizing a dose of natural fiber. It is now.
ANALYZE - This is properly worded for Step 9 to reflect, upon being fully unlocked, the ten options for creation. It also includes a note about how treat boxes, awards, and butcher paper cannot have perfume added to them.
Whisper got a facelift. My is now optional.
There was a bug report that whisper wasn't working but I'm unable to replicate it. Specifically, it stated that WHISPER MY MECHANICS BOX wasn't producing the results needed, but this is what I found:

Natural Paper - There is a misconception that there aren't REEDS in the game. There are. They are on Mist Harbor or in the Landing. However, since reedgrass (a newer addition) is indeed a type of reed, it has been added as an option.
  • Award
ADD was giving both YOUR and A messaging when you tried to add a ribbon or piece of ore, it is no longer having a crisis and knows who it belongs to.
  • Treat Boxes
Dyes were having existential crisis around the treat box. They've figured things out and are doing much better now.
Realizing that my flavor restrictions were a bit tight, I removed the FLAVOR checks and as long as the 'treat' is a baked good, filled crust, or candy, it should go through now.
There was an oversight where wrapping treat box wasn't consuming a row of yarn. It is now.
There were instances where new boxes were claiming to be contaminated. This is resolved.
SHAKE was working at all tiers, it is a tier 3 verb.
Analyze has been updated to reflect tier status. PnC was added.
  • Common Weaves

A bug report was submitted for these, however, there isn't a bug. While it may appear that the last two lines are repeats, there is a subtle distinction.

  • Indicates the verb will have an interaction between the erasay and with some leg-worn items.

(s) Indicates the verb will have an interaction between the sleeveless erasay and wrist-worn jewelry.
However, I did see a missing space and fixed it while I was in there and I also updated the PnC

There was a weird bug report about using TRASH with these and producing messaging about items in locker. I couldn't reproduce this, so if you can, please provide the exact messaging and what verbs you were using to do this.
There was a brief bug where the actual berry type was being displayed in creation, but not upon smelling the person with the perfume. This is resolved.
Various reports have come in about the vial not working with this flower or that. The only thing that I can say is that the flower, fruit, or berry MUST be a FORAGED item. It cannot be something plucked, pulled, or taken from a plant. It must be foraged.
While I was under the hood, I added PnC.
  • Weasal roller has been updated to weasel, if you got one with the typo, please assist.
  • Owners of private property artwork displays should now be able to whisper to it again to select a display and material style.
  • Papermaker - Glance was defaulting to white no matter what dye you placed in it. This has been fixed and properly reflects the dye now.,
  • Teaspoons that are scripted are now able to be dyed and can be used in the Spidersilk Apothecary.
  • Foraging Basketifier snips - the 3rd person messaging no longer cuts off when using CUT.
  • Gnomic Wine Press - Should no longer produce random wine when a recipe item is added.
  • Aulidie's Pottery - These items now display a material. (ie: glass comes out as glass, clay, earthenware, porcelain, ceramic, and terracotta come out as organic, and stoneware comes out as stone.,
  • Smelter Jewelry that had gemstones added to it where "shard" was in the middle of the gemstone description will properly pluralize shard but not the gemstone.
  • Spell books are now compatible with the new RESERVE system.
  • All new treasure system wands are now compatible with Mage’s Gauntlets. Enjoy discovering your favorite damage type!
  • prod will now correctly work with flourishes. This primarily impacted players' ability to toggle Least Moods' holy ambients on/off.
  • Tasty Hands Aprons - There was a bug causes these to think they had more items in them than they did. ANALYZE the apron to fix this.
  • Lumber Locker - There was an oddity of the wood coming out of the lumber locker not properly being marked. Please feel free to assist if you have a piece that is broken. Going forward, this issue is resolved.

Stop! Stop! He’s already dead!

  • Mage’s Gauntlets should no longer attempt to flare (T5 imprinted relic feature) against dead creatures and players.

River's Rest Apiary Addendum

  • Collip's yard-apiary used to just be "an egg-shaped bee hive", which had very spastic bees. With the introduction of BEEEEEEEEEEES (and their associate apiaries), Colip now has four hives in his yard... three are functional with the apiculture jars (the alveary, beehouse, and skep), and the bee hive with its continued spastic bees.

Apologies to all the bee enthusiasts for not being able to put the bee hive to apiculture usage!

[Cysaegir] Maeve's Furs
Maeve's Furs has been updated to be in line with today's standards. While most fixes won't be super noticeable, the ones that will be are as follows:

  • There was a typo in the room description that included an extraneous "a". This has been fixed.
  • Brief room descriptions have been added for those who prefer it that way

Insurmountable Saddles

  • Some of the mount styles were not working. There was a bit of an overhaul to mounting and dismounting. This update has been resolved within the Insurmountable Saddles.
  • While working in these saddles, I updated to PnC as well.

Saddle Me Up - Equine Saddles

  • All mount/dismount issues have been resolved here. If you find there are still issues, please bug it again with the specifics of what caused the issue.
  • While working in these saddles, I updated to PnC as well.

Saddle Bags

  • There's been a few bugs about this, and I just want to make some clarification. When you have an item ON a {mount} it is considered nested. The game engine will always target what it can find first and requires you to tell it where things are, therefore, if you wish to manipulate a saddle bag on your mount without using PnC, then you will need to {verb} {item} ON {mount}. This is not a bug.

Mount

  • This verb has been updated to reflect that you no longer will be dismounted when using TRAMPLE.

Unicorn
Dream items from Unicorn will now match their type:

  • Gemstones will now be considered gemstones, this includes gemstone bugs.
  • Paper insects will now inspect as Bugs on Parade paper bugs.
  • Flowers, Leaves, and Acorns will not inspect as foraged items.
  • Some figurines will now inspect as blank magic items.
  • Most jewelry was updated as well.

TIU & QAITEKE LIZARD SADDLES

  • Dismounting and Mounting Bugs are resolved.
  • While under the hood I updated PnC as well.

Yierka

  • Feeding a yierka will no longer should 3rd person as "your" for the food item.

Bear

  • Bears will now eat the raw fish fillet from your hand. They also, for the record, eat whole unfilleted fish.

Doe

  • Rubbing the face of the doe will now have proper spacing in the command.

Horse

  • Smooch will no longer provide weird messaging.
  • Clean now appropriate recognizes apple smoosh in cider press form.
  • Cider labels correctly reflect the name of the apple verse the color.
  • Wines were having issues due to pluralization of fruit and mismatched capitalization. This has been resolved and recipes are now working.
  • Stacked Vintners, Winery - the press here was not allowing you to add fruit. It will now.

'Ribbonator'

  • When selecting unzested ribbons, the box will no longer apologize for having no crystals.
  • SPIN has some safeguards in it, so that if POUND asks for specific things that are not present it will stop SPIN from working.
  • TURN has some safeguards in it, so that if POUND asks for specific things that are not present it will stop TURN from working.
  • SPIN preview now fully matchings TURN results
  • TURN will no longer drain charges if it is set to create plain ribbons.
  • TILT 3rd person display issue is resolved.
  • base ribbons will no longer be created due to the safety features above.
