A fallen crusader can be found on Plane 4 of the Rift. They are Paladins slain in battle, corrupted physically and spiritually to fight again. Though their previous connections to their deities have been severed, they wander the Rift, powered by an unknown and unholy force. The crusaders have a selection of Paladin and a couple of necromantic Sorcerer spells.

Other information
Fallen crusaders can regenerate and heal themselves, similar to trolls:
A fallen crusader's flesh wounds regenerate quickly.
A fallen crusader's head regenerates and looks fully healed.
Fallen crusaders have an ability which acts like haste in that they speed up, but is not a standard haste. The haste ability will last through an MSTRIKE, unlike normal haste. Also, the healing ability of the crusader is sped up while the haste ability is active.
The haste ability beginning:
The air surrounding a fallen crusader becomes distorted as she raises her black morning star over her head. The fallen crusader becomes infused with an argent glow, her movements blurring with a renewed speed!
The haste ability ending:
A fallen crusader's movements return to normal as a silvery infusion fades from around him.
