Mists pirouette about the tattered hem of the mist-wreathed banshee's gown so that it is unclear where the garment ends and they begin.  Though there are the remnants of loveliness to her visage, the banshee's cheeks are sunken and her eyes are empty chasms of shadow.  Dark hair, wild and unkempt, swirls around her face as if constantly blown by a howling breeze.  The banshee's form is barely substantial and light filters grimly through her.

The mist-wreathed banshee is medium in size and about five feet high in her current state.

Description

Arrival

Fog glides into the area on silent tendrils, faintly luminous as if suffused with moonglow.  The mist writhes unnaturally, coalescing into the humanoid form of a woman clad in the shredded tatters of a gown.  The banshee's eyes are empty pits, but they sweep the surroundings mournfully, leaking stygian tears.

Mist Attack

Banshees have a unique SMR single-target SMR attack that deals Cold damage:

A flickering mist-wreathed banshee raises her arms overhead, her frayed garments and wild locks whipping in a ghostly breeze as waves of mist rise around her.  The fog crashes outward in an inexorable tide, aglow with silvery radiance.

Cold mist engulfs you, brutally leaching strength from your limbs as all around you vanishes in occluding fog!
Your grass anklet pulses briefly, deflecting some of the freezing damage!  The anklet glints one last time, then grows dim.

   A chilly blast strikes you in the chest, knocking you back a step.

Curse

Banshees cast Curse, usually of the itch variety. This causes several cycles of RT and can make you drop held items including armaments. Remove Curse (315) can remove it, otherwise it's best to move to a safe area then stow your held items.
