Hunting Strategies
Ithzir champions use warrior maneuvers, don't stun, and hit rather hard. While manageable in a group, things get dicier when the woods start to swarm.
Other Information
Ithzir champions will only spawn in the North Woods area of Old Ta'Faendryl.
Champions will occasionally wield a jagged crystal-bladed flamberge or a heavy crystal-capped maul. Like the other crystal-bearing weapons the Ithzir use, they will flare with lightning, and even a light hit can be deadly.

Quickstrike
Ithzir champions appear to be able to use a quickstrike, which shortens the already-brief delay before their next action:
The champion's face hardens in concentration, and he starts moving faster than seems possible. An Ithzir champion swings a heavy crystal-capped maul at you! AS: +442 vs DS: +626 with AvD: +36 + d100 roll: +81 = -67 A clean miss.
Bertrandt's Bellow
Ithzir champions know Bertrandt's Bellow, which can put its target in up to 20 seconds of roundtime. This roundtime can stack with itself, and with the roars/wingbeats of nearby war griffins.
An Ithzir champion glares at you and lets out a nerve-shattering bellow! You maintain your resolve, ignoring the unnerving cry!
