|'''a gold-riveted light mithril quiver'''<br>Arrow or bolt shafts can be put into the quiver to create finished arrows. If a spell with appropriate qualities is cast at the quiver, the resulting arrows will take on the properties of the spell. Fire spells would impart fire flares, [[Bless Item (304)]] would allow for blessed arrows, [[Guiding Light (1608)]] would impart plasma flares, etc. [http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Ebon_Gate_2009_Teasers_(saved_post)#Gold-riveted_light_mithril_quiver]

|'''a copper-leafed labradorite ring'''<br>DB item<br>A shield-shaped fragment of iridescent blue labradorite is set into the ring, the dizzying striations of the stone weaving and darting about darker veins just beneath the shimmering surface. Trefoil leaves of sullen red copper adorn the gentle slope of the band, so delicate and lifelike in appearance that it seems they might stir in a passing breeze. Hints of a smooth golden surface wink between the leaves like glimpses of sunlight through a forest canopy. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Latest revision as of 22:43, 5 May 2019

This is the auction item list for Ebon Gate 2009.

The auction will take place over the opening weekend of Ebon Gate. Half of the auction items will be released on Feastday (Saturday) and half on Restday (Sunday). The auctioneers will work each day in three shift times -- 12:00 (noon Eastern), 4:00 (4pm Eastern), and 8:00 (8pm Eastern). Each shift will cycle through a set batch of items until all of the items have been auctioned, the next cycle starts, or no further bids are put out for the items remaining in the current batch. Items will move quickly, so do not miss out!

The distribution of items will take place in two rooms, and each character will start with one token. In the token room (the Azure Room), an item will come up for "bid" and all interested parties will enter their tokens into a raffle for that item using the BID verb. A bid can be withdrawn with by WITHDRAWing the token. The winner will receive the item and non-winning entries will have their tokens returned.

In the silver room (the Jade Chamber), each item will be auctioned as normal, but the winner of the auction will give their token in addition to the coins that they had bid. This way it is ensured that each character can get one and only one item. Bidders can BID AMOUNT. The "AMOUNT" may be shortened to "###k" (for thousands) or "###m" (for millions). Bids will also be recognized if you use a decimal point. (For example: BID 1000 - 1000 silvers; BID 25k - 25000 silvers; BID 1m - 1,000,000 silver; BID 4.5k - 4,500 silver). All bidders in the Jade Chamber will only be able to bid as many silvers as they have on their person between coins and notes. This is done automatically by the system, the auctioneers have no authority with regards to this rule. Runners to banks are not provided in the auction chambers, nor do Premium checkbooks count as having the money with you.

If for any reason one of the visitors is unhappy with their item, they are able to exchange the item with one of the consolation prizes during the remainder of the event.

Note: this is a preliminary item list and is subject to change before the auction begins.

magic Saturday
a pair of pure white feathered wings
Minor Sanctuary and Light
Lambent, pure white pinions compose these immense and beautiful wings. Each silky feather is pristine white and completely unmarred, uniformly perfect in hue from tip to stem. A luminous glow envelops the magnificent wings, the luminescent aura gently pulsing in a slow and steady rhythm. With the slightest movement, gossamer wisps of soft white light radiate forth from the feathers in a mesmerizing display.
Saturday Token
an ebony pendant
sanctuary breaker
Saturday Token

"Blasting Warhorn"
Saturday Token
a polished entwined wand
Elemental Dispel (417)|/Spirit Dispel double-wand

a coiled copper wire ring set with a mercury-filled glass bead
Heroism knowledge enhancive
Saturday Silvers
a rich burgandy cloak
Thurfel's Ward (503) knowledge enhancive, changes color.
Saturday Silvers
a colorful gem-encrusted mask
Spell Purification knowledge enhancive[9]
Garish, ugly, flamboyant, and eccentric are some of the words that could be used to describe this theatre mask. Made of hammered silver, the multi-hued mask is encrusted with tiny samples of most known gems. Miniature polished peridots, diamonds, glimaerstones, garnets, and deathstones mingle with bright shards of emerald, moonstone, ruby, riftshard and topaz. Miniscule etched musical notes fill the spaces between the gemstones.
Saturday Silvers
a large cast iron skillet
Produces magical bacon. Will make one piece each containing the spells Elemental Bias (508), Prayer of Protection (303), and Dauntless (1606) with 5 bites each. The bacon spoils its magic after one day.
Saturday Silvers
a pair of icy silver-blue wings
1x daily Major Elemental Wave (435) and 5x daily Ice Patch (512). 1x a day chance to create feathers.
Saturday Silvers
a pair of inky black feathered wings
Major Elemental Wave (435) and Darkness (206)
Glossy black pinions compose these immense and beautiful wings. Each silky feather showcases caliginous shades reminiscent of deepest night, when no moons shine, and there is nary a star in the sky, culminating in a velvety atramentous expanse. An ethereal darkness envelops the magnificent wings, gently pulsing in a slow and steady rhythm. With the slightest movement, tenuous black wisps, insubstantial yet turbid, radiate forth from the feathers in a mesmerizing display.
Koehri says, "They are not able to be worn by aelotoi, since they already have wings. They do not require training in magic item use to use. They cast the spell Darkness and have a chance of also casting a major elemental wave."
Shoulderworn

a rainbow quartz runestone
Elemental Barrier (430)

Spell knowledge enhancive
Saturday Token
a crystal-set glowbark runestaff
Koehri says, "Here we have a glowbark runestaff. It's enchanted a bit over 6 times and enhances your mana recovery as well as your harness power skills."
The glowbark from which this runestaff has been fashioned retains its bark, the rivulets and crevices between the pieces glowing faintly beneath the darkly tinted lacquer that protects the wood. Bare except for the finish, the shaft is long and straight; the only deviation from this comes at the crown of the staff, where the wood has been carved. A tri-limbed cage rises from the wood, hollowed and shaped into a spiral form. Within the curved bands of glowbark, a rough, unfinished crystal is trapped. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Curling into a near circle at the tip, the witchwood moves from a deep black to striations of grey toward the butt of the staff. From the almost charred appearance of the black tip, a spiraled vein of silvery grey encircles the body of the runestaff, looping continuously toward the beginning of the crook to form a firm grip, contoured to nearly enfold the bearer's hand as it is held.
Saturday Silvers

Koehri says, "So this illthorn runestaff has five enchants and grants knowledge of the spell Mystic Focus."

"Trollslayer Weapon"
Saturday Token
a slim-bladed black alloy greataxe
ShadowDeath weapon
Dripping tendrils of shadow cling to the impressive length of the greataxe's slender blade, growing less substantial and sublimating into dark mist as they part from the weapon completely. The stygian metal seems, at times, to be caught in state between liquidity and solidity, but its true edge is never less than razor-sharp. Faint carmine ornamentation is visible through the twitching and blurring of the blade. Above a hilt wrapped in mottled white leather, the guard is a simple twist of golden metal. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
Saturday Token
a mithglin mace
"Blink Weapon": This weapon has the ability to hold a spell (known example: 702) and flare with that spell upon successful contact. The weapon also has teleportation abilities to an adjacent room six times a day when the eye on the hilt blinks.[48]

Saturday Token
an imflass yierka-spur coated in a dark green resin
"Poison Blade"
Saturday Token
a barbed veil iron dagger
Masterfully weighted crit-weighted[50]
Forged from pure veil iron, the natural deep blue flecks of the metal give the surface of the dagger's blade an appearance reminiscent of an eerily darkened night sky. A deep blood groove runs down the center of the dagger's veil iron blade, leading to its razor-sharp point. Clusters of curved barbs trace the edge of the blade, each pointing backwards towards the hilt, lending the weapon a decidedly wicked appearance. Etched into the blood groove in tiny silver script is the word, "Ripper."
Saturday Silvers

"Chronomage Dagger"
Has the chance to "go back and time" and inflict two extra strikes on occasion when hurled. The extra strikes only have the chance to flare on a thrown attack. Has other scripts. [51]
Saturday Silvers
a dark blue zorchar-edged battlesword
The blade of the sword flares wide and down near the grip to protect the hand of its wielder. Bolts of electricity arc along the length of the blade regularly. Strange flowing designs have been etched along the blade's length. You see nothing unusual, except for a small enchanter's glyph.
"Lightning Sword": 5x, lightning flares, scripted.
As you rub your hand along your zorchar-edged battlesword small sparks burst from the surface along the line of your touch.
As you shake your zorchar-edged battlesword, sparks and small bolts of lightning begin to crackle along the surface of the blade. A few even reach out to nip at your hand.
As you tap your zorchar-edged battlesword a burst of energy explodes from the blade.
As you raise your zorchar-edged battlesword lightning encircles the blade and seems to climb up towards the blade tip.
You begin to feel your zorchar-edged battlesword build up a slight charge that makes your hand tingle.
Your zorchar-edged battlesword releases a bolt of lightning that travels from the pommel to the tip before dissipating.

a golden zelnorn short sword Saturday Silvers
a long-hafted vaalorn bastard axe
Guardians of the Sunfist weapon: GoS weapons give very nice boosts to stamina and mana recovery, as well as some extra health.
Pitted and battleworn, the axe seems to have seen centuries of use. Countless numbers of hands have worn the long faewood haft down to an almost slippery smoothness, though the sharpened vaalorn head still retains the keeness needed to hew through bone and sinew. Dwarven runes are etched deeply into the wooden axe handle. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
Named:Ghesta's Justice.

While the regular bubble flares have heavy damage padding, the auction ones flare for much more. They last a minute and refresh each time the weapon flares. All this works on top of any armor padding, society padding, and protective cast spells. Bubble flares only work if you GET HIT. They don't raise your defense. If you never get touched ever, bubble flares probably won't be of much use to you. They only work for melee weapons. The weapon can't be higher than +35, and it can't have existing scripts, flares, weighting, etc.

Attach to your own handaxe, hammer, discus, quoit, or dagger to make it a returner [55]
On any strike that is not evaded, blocked, or parried, the weapon will gain +3 AS per attack for the cost of 5 stamina and 5 mana. This +3 AS bonus is cumulative, and uncapped. The bonus may be turned on and off at will, so you don't have to be losing stamina/mana every time you hurl.
That may be completely incorrect, as the only person so far to use their string says it's wrong but not what part or what's right.

Sunday Silvers
a phenomenal bubble flare certificate
Super Bubble Flare service. A bubble flare offers a protective bubble about the wielder when the flare activates.
