The I.C.E. Age was the period of GemStone III between 1989 and 1995 when Simutronics was licensing its game mechanics and world setting from Iron Crown Enterprises. The tongue-in-cheek acronym implies that anything from that time is archaic, and has no continuity with the official history of Elanthia. There used to be five moons, for example, and now there are only four. Varin was apparently misplaced.
