The Arkati are the Gods of Elanthia.

Most of the Arkati belong to one of two major pantheons, named after the moons on which they once resided, Liabo and Lornon. In broad terms, the Arkati of the Pantheon of Liabo are concerned with the welfare of the mortal races, whereas those of the Pantheon of Lornon see mortals as mere tools for their own betterment. Other Arkati tend to remain neutral in the conflicts between the two pantheons.

In additional to the Arkati, various Lesser Spirits are commonly worshipped as gods. Some of them are aligned with the Arkati pantheons, while others are local deities with their own aspects.

Conversion

Adventurers can follow their beliefs and formally convert to the Arkati or Lesser Spirit of their choice. Clerics and Paladins, as primary channellers of spiritual magic, receive additional benefits from conversion. Conversion does not mean that the adventurer worships only that deity.
