The Monk, along with the Savant, is one of two upcoming professions to be added to GemStone IV. Monks are slated to be a square profession, with access to the Minor Mental and Minor Spiritual spell circles. Monks will be expected to use little to no armor, and are are assumed to be geared towards use of the slated Unarmed combat system.

- Burst of Swiftness (burst): Agility/Dexterity bonus (5 ranks)
- Flurry of Blows (flurry): Martial Stance, Jab multiple targets in area (3 ranks)
- Grapple Mastery (gmastery): Increase Grapple attack proficiency (3 rank)
- Inner Harmony (iharmony): Martial Stance, chance to shake off spell effects (3 ranks)
- Internal Power (ipower): Health point recovery (5 ranks)
- Ki Focus (kifocus): AS/UAF bonus (3 ranks)
- Kick Mastery (kmastery): Increase Kick attack proficiency (3 ranks)
- Mystic Strike (mysticstrike): ? (description not available at this time)
- Perfect Self (perfectself): Statistics enhancer (5 ranks)
- Punch Mastery (punchmastery): Increase Punch attack proficiency (3 ranks)
- Rolling Krynch Stance (krynch): Martial Stance, potentially raise attack tier against second foe (3 ranks)
- Stance of the Mongoose (mongoose): Martial Stance, auto retaliatory strike (3 ranks)
